While the food was ok we were disappointed with the service. We placed an order for delivery at 6:15pm, our confirmation said delivery would be 7:15pm. 7:30pm I called to ask where it was, we did get an apology but the food still didn’t arrive until 7:45pm Shame because the food was nice
Disappointed with food. Got meal for 2. Starters were pre- prepared and microwaved. They were average. Main course totally disappointed. Ask for lamb karai and got something like a dupaiza with the taste of uncooked red chilli powder. Bland taste to all dishes we ordered. No compliments to chef however service was good friendly and attentive.
This is are go to Indian, we only get takeaways from here so don't know about the restaurant, I've read other reviews saying about delivery times which are true so we always leave plenty of time , we have never had a bad meal from fayez would recommendFood: 4/5
Faye’s was our favourite local Indian restauarant before it closed a couple of years ago. Now it is back and as good, if not better, than ever. Excellent food I had the West Bengal Jalfrezi for my main and very good service. Hopefully it will kick on again now especially with the wider selection of bars in Cleveleys now. Good food and friendly service. Stairs up to the restaurant so not good for people who can't manage them.Food: 4/5
Ordered a few meals they were put on order for delivery. It was a Saturday night so it was busy. It was 30 minutes late though and had some things missing rang up and it took a while for them to believe what I was saying. Asked them to check with the delivery driver in case a bag was missing. Did receive a phone call from owner abd they sent some things that were missing back but it was too late I was too full from rice and the Korma I ate. Missed my garlic nan and samosas that were supposed to come free. The food was good though. But very frustrating as missed having it with my meal.
Great to see the Fayez back open as a restaurant. A Cleveleys institution from back in the day. Had a superb meal for two this evening. 10/10
Was told when we ordered it that it would be 50 mins wait. Was fine with that, however still no food an 75 minutes later. Called up and was told another 10 mins. Food finally cane AFTER 2 HOURS. Not worth the wait, food was cold and tasteless, chips were soggy and near raw. Worst Indian takeaway ever. Wont be ordering again.Food: 1/5
I’m going to be completely honest here. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I feel the need to tonight. It was mine and my partners anniversary tonight and we booked a table this morning which we had a confirmation email later on today We gets a taxi down and get there just before our time, and guess what?! It was shut. My partner rung them after we was told by a passerby that it had shut for renovation. My partner was answered by someone who was to be quite frank, blunt and miserable. “What do you want me to do about it” she said to my partner. We didn’t want anything done we just thought it would of been best to tell people you were closed for renovation. From first experiences it wasn’t great and to be honest it’s put us off going back, regardless of the good reviews we’ve had in the past
Best curry we have had for a long time . Next time we are in Cleveleys we will have another curry. It was the BESTFood: 5/5
