Went for the first time in a number years. We were disappointed with the service and food. It wasn't clear when ordering at the counter that you had to place a drinks order prior to main order and then asked again regarding drinks. I noticed two other tables close by had issues with there orders when they arrived, so something perhaps to look at moving forward. The fish and chips come with bread but no peas extra charge. The chicken and mushroom pie was sadly very dry despite the promise of an onion sauce, with little mushroom and lots of pastry. The chips we very nice. It is usually busy so enough people must enjoy the venue perhaps we came on an off day?
Not been back here for quite some time. We both agreed that the giant toasted teacakes were reassuringly unchanged from the ones we enjoyed here previously, generously buttered with a lovely flavour and not overpriced. If this review was helpful please give it a like below.Food: 5/5
First time visit and will definitely be back.The ice cream and the selection of cakes fantastic.Especially on a lovely sunny day.There is also a bar if you fancy a cheeky drink.We had Great service by a lovely lady who helped us to a table and carried our tray.There is a nice friendly atmosphere here. And after taking a look at the menu for next time.There is certainly plenty of choice a really good size place.With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.Also inside there is a customer toilet also for disabled and a baby changing room.
I visited two days running and had the roast beef dinner both times as it was excellent, plenty of beef , big Yorkshire pudding and potatoes plus two veg. Quick service and friendly staff, lots of nice looking cream cakes too but I was too full to indulge. Drinks were a bit pricey though. The beef dinner was £9.95 but worth it.Food: 5/5

Beautiful cafe, well decorated, friendly staff and delicious food! I’ve had the fish and chips which was delicious and a bacon toastie which was the tastiest I’ve ever had! Also had the homemade chocolate sponge and custard and my boyfriend has had a jacket potato and an egg custard. All delicious!Recommended dishesSmall Fish and Chips, Chips, Jacket Potato
I had a very good pot of tea and my friend had a single shot latte which was also good. I shall be back for one of their enormous cakes which looked so delicious... Wish I'd been hungry enough to have one there and then but have the perfect excuse to go back soon. Thank you.Food: 5/5
Nice homely cafe not from Cleveleys so can't really say much. Coffee was good, nice selection of cakes/puddings. Mainly older people not for the trendy. Kid-friendliness: Was okay.Not really for kids I'd say. Our grandson didn't want anything from kids menu he likes healthy food spaghetti etc which they did but in adult menu.He is 4.
Sat outside and enjoyed really tasty fish and chips. Served up hot and at a great price. The cakes everyone was eating looked amazing and we'll try them next time!Food: 5/5
