I first came to Farley's after moving to Hitchin 5 years ago and I haven't had my hair cut by any other barber since. Absolutely love the haircut, the banter (sometimes very quirky banter) and overall feel of the place! They are open late on Thursdays where Farleys operates a BYOB (bring your own booze) where you can pop over the road grab a beer/ale and drink it while getting your hair cut. Farley's operates using a booking system (you'll be lucky to get a haircut without booking, but it can happen) which at first is a bit jarring, but after you've made your first booking you'll see it's the best way to go. No need to wait in a queue behind loads of people hoping to get "your" barber. You make your booking, arrive 5 minutes before, get comfortable and then get your haircut just the way you like it. Highly recommended barber and salon, just book before hand.

I’ve been visiting Farley’s for about 3 years now, pretty religiously every 2 weeks to have my beard trimmed and head shaved. Prior to this the concept of booking an appointment for barbering was completely alien to me. But, guess what? It works. Brilliantly. No more waiting in line behind 10 people on a Saturday afternoon. I just walk in, typically about 30 seconds before my appointment, to a warm welcome from Felix and the team. Felix is one of those people in life who really cares about what he does. Whether it be barbering, classic cars, music or anything else for that matter. So my cut is typically punctuated by a fairly lively conversation about what we have both been up to. I’ve learned a lot about Hitchin this way. And I come out with a really sharp haircut. What more can I say?

I visited Farleys for the first time last week, after reading all the great reviews. It certainly did not disappoint. My appointment was with Felix. Such a lovely guy, he is so attentive, I felt as if I'd known him for years. I am so fussy and always struggled to find a good hairdresser. Felix is THE master of his craft. His cutting skills are on another level. I am so happy with the result. Got a new BFF too 😉

I can honestly say that Louise is a LIFESAVER!! She created a masterpiece from a complete hack (different salon 4 hrs previously). Needless to say, I booked my next app before leaving. Great atmosphere great service. Totally recommend TY LOUISE 😍

Love Farley’s. Felix understands exactly what I need and that good hair can make a massive difference to how you feel about yourself. I always come out feeling marvellous. He does a brilliant cut and styling along with great conversation in the coolest salon in Hitchin.
