I usually order from fans house but the past year, the quality of food has gone down massively. I ordered the chicken fried rice as usual, and the Lemon Chicken which I’ve never had, so I asked what it was and they said “fried chicken with lemon” which i guess it is, but I thought it would be a little bit of lemon sauce with a bit of salt and pepper. Picture says it all. Swimming in sauce, so the batter was soggy, and the chicken was chewy I threw it away before I took the pic. The chicken rice was fine and the delivery was very quick. Maybe too quick. Took the p*ss with that slice of lemon and the spring onion aswell.
Very poor food , totally tasteless, they seriously need to improve as it’s definitely not good , and it’s a shame as in the location they could do well, but in my honest opinion the food is very badFood: 1/5
Just had a lovely Chinese. It was hot and tasty. Could not fault it 10/10 Had Special Chowmein, Peking Chicken, Special Curry, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls n Bbq Spare Ribs Food: 5/5
Since changing hands fans house is not the best. We ordered 2 special chow meins special rice and ribs. Chips and chicken balls. Most of it was cold probably because its in cardboard trays. The chow mein had no sauce. Although portions were a good size it was inedible . Certainly won't be going there again A complete waste of £43
I was just driving past and saw the Chinese, I only ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and a chicken chow mein. The chicken balls were average, but the chicken chow mein was like it had been microwaved from frozen. Below basic in quality. Awful. 2 items missing when I got home. I know should have checked before leaving shop. Chicken fried rice was soggy boiled rice hardly any chicken in it. Chicken omelette not good. Shredded beef was the only decent thing. Used to use Fans a lot but not so much recently but that's it now no more.
The food was delicious. The service was polite and friendly. A good place to recommend
Firstly, the online menu has different prices which is misleading. The food was not good quality, crispy duck not crispy at all and with soggy skin on, the wraps were all stuck together and became tough as soon as unpacked, so I presume they were overcooked in microwave, the battered chicken was uncooked in the middle and the egg fried rice had no flavour whatsoever and beef from black bean sauce was very chewy and lumpy and not nice to eat at all, presumably undercooked as well. Really dissatisfied, would never order from there again unfortunately.
Great food, good size portions and very reasonable prices. As a vegetarian, I particularly love the satay tofu, and salt and pepper mushrooms/chips. My boyfriend really likes the sweet and sour chicken batter dish, and we both like the egg fried rice too. Highly recommended. :
Really good quality food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Cooked just how I liked it and they offered me a smaller portion as I couldn't manage a full sized tray. Served piping hot and with large chunks if meat. Cannot complain.
