Arrived fairly late into sunday service (8.30pm). Food was excellent. Had the carvery and the meat was so tender and beautifully cooked. Was going to have a pudding but totally stuffed. I have 2 fussy kids who insist we now come here on our visits to Perth!. Well done

went for Sunday lunch. very good. good value for money. staff very friendly and helpful. helped download app to get a discount. one very minor comment. some of the veggies could have done with a freshen up. but overall very good we will be back.

very clean, comfortable setting. great choice of food and large portions. With eat as much veg and salad as you want.Very nice helpful staff. Definately would recommend it.

Update 21 Feb: have downgraded review rating to one star due to the feedback from the assistant manager - what a load of rubbish. Is just weak excuses so the management can self justify their own ineptitude. Example 1 - "...if the front of house staff were made aware.." translates to "it isn't our fault that our kitchen staff didn't tell our front of house staff - if they had, then things would have been different" (even though communication between the kitchen and front of house is a fundamental aspect of running a restaurant and ensuring it occurs is a management responsibility). Example 2 - "However, when it comes to sourcing and cooking just any old hash brown within our restaurant that is not going to happen...we only source and cook food that is approved by nominated suppliers..." translates to "I'm going to blame our suppliers for this one and in any case I'd also prefer to claim that the problem is really a positive thing in the form of our really high standards rather than simply accept responsibility, apologise and make good to the customer" (even though there was no evidence of these high standards in the other food offered). Give me a break - was the flaky response intended to placate me or was it really intended to limit the impact of scaring other unsuspecting customers away? Original review: Just finished breakfast at Fair Maid, Perth about 15 minutes ago. Fairly much a disappointment from a badly run establishment - the food is okay at best. Breakfast advertised as all you can eat including specified breakfast items. This included hash browns (which there weren't any) When I politely made an inquiry to one of the cooks I got a very uninterested mumble and a shake of the head. After alerting a waitress the reply a few minutes later was "sorry, the kitchen hadn't made management aware". Do I really care as a customer about the inept inner workings of their restaurant? How difficult is it to source and cook hash browns? No offer of a % refund or coffee on the house - nothing. Won't be going back and would recommend that you don't go there either.

Really nice place to eat. Friendly Family orientated. Enjoyed Cavery. I had the Turkey Roast. Meat was Juicey, Vegetables where fresh. Loved the Roast potatoes and the Salad bar. Very filling. I was impressed with the price and the quality of food. Where I was seated did make all the difference, as I was comfortable. Background music was good too. Play Area was ample. Did have a Children's menu and kids drawing activity, which helped save kids from getting bored, however did not have napkins on the table had to ask a member of staff. Did not spoil my time here though. Would go back.
