Good food and the pre-theatre (before 1730 hrs) is recommended. Either 3 courses from a menu or a 4 course sampler for £22. The sampler meals are chosen by the chef and you will not know what they are before ordering. Good for the adventurous. Wine starts at £22 a bottle and there is a £15 option for the sampler menu. A chosen drink with each course. I had black pudding with pheasant and is thoroughly recommended. Service and decor to a very high standard.

Fabulous setting, thoughtfully prepared local produce and friendly, attentive staff. A lovely evening out and did not disappoint.
