Friendly staff, and good food in the cafe. The cheese on toast is a must, unless you have to avoid cheese for medical reasons. All the food and drinks seem to be reasonably priced. Reasonable selection of books for the size of the library, but you can always check out the stock of other Oldham libraries online and have it delivered here as a reservation if this is your local library.

One of my favourite places to go in Oldham. The staff are all lovely, very friendly and helpful. You can play scrabble near the desk. Lovely place to sit and read quietly overlooking the canal. The Failsworth Writing Group meets every third Tuesday of the month too.
Would love to be able to visit but the 9-5 opening times make it nearly impossible for somebody that works. The only day it's open on the weekend is Saturday and that is only until 12pm. Seems counter intuitive to have a place of free learning not be accessible to 90% of the working class.
We love going to Janice,s cafe ever Tuesday lunch time we are a group of ladies who go to kcals at Roman Road church,
