They have moved to bigger and better premises. Once again the packed full of stuff.
Lowest prices by far on a wide range of imported fabrics. Great place to spend a few hours on a Sunday morning. Bring change for the drinks machine upstairs. Parking quite limited immediately outside. Be aware that they sell in yards rather than metres.
Some fabrics were very cheap - £2 per yard. Some good choices of other fabrics though not a vast range. Very difficult to find as the sign is very small. Very small car park so we had to park down the road. Staff not as friendly, but they were very busy. Limited opening hours- check before you go!!
Brilliant fabric shop for many different types of crafts with a focus on quilting. Great array of fabrics on bolts as well as fat quarters and pre-cut jelly rolls. There's a great sewing machine service and parts shop indoors too which is useful for additional extras when working on a new project. Opening hours are a bit odd but it does mean you can get in and out early on a Sunday morning and have the afternoon for craft!
A frequent visitor before the move to Oadby I have only been to the new premises once but found it a good experience. Since Lockdown I have ordered online which is easy to do. The web site is easy to maneuver and being able to use PayPal is a bonus. Well done Fabric Guild. I had a query about my order this morning and it was answered politely and efficiently as I would have expected from the lovely helpful staff. I would recommend a visit when they reopen to the public. Thumbs up from me
The range of fabrics, and everything else you could possibly need, for patchwork, quilting, applique or other sewing projects is amazing. The prices are great too. Coffee out of a machine for 20p and free biscuits just finishes a visit off nicely.
great shop full of fabric at good prices, lots of colours!!. had a great sunday morning, browsing and looking at everything. Upstairs there were lots of books, mainly quilting, plus a sewing machine area, Zips galore and paper packs. I will be back soon
Slightly less fabric than usual but much more knitting yarn. An excellent place to buy fabric at a reasonable price. Has a fabulous selection of sundries for the quilter and dressmaker.
Had a trip here from Birmingham and wasn't disappointed. Bought some beautiful and unusual fabrics for a specific project. Prices were very reasonable, staff were friendly and really efficient. I will be going back.
This place is absolutely brilliant, it's full of so many different fabrics. If you have a project in mind your almost certain to get everything you want. Fabric, cottons, binding, wadding, jelly rolls, fat quarters, zips, buttons they have it all and so much more!
