Owner is a dishonest man

Two months ago my wife started to work for Express Laundry. After one day, she got fired as she was not quick enough, according to the owner. After that, we waited a long time for the payment for this one day, naively believing that it will be paid at the end of the month. As it did not happen, we sent a few emails to the owner, who responded with only one sentence: " will sort out today". (Nothing like sorry for the mistake, or kind regards, or anything like that).

After that, we did receive a payment, but for six hours only, although my wife worked eight hours. We sent a few emails to the owner again, but he never responded. Obviously he judges that this 14 pounds can be safely stolen from us as nobody will start a legal process for this amount of money.

So, if you want to support someone who robs the minimum wage from his employees, than Matthew Theodoris and his Express Laundry is a good choice; otherwise, just pick another company, there is plenty of them.
