A bookshop straight out of a fairy tale

Quite small but lots packed in. Quality of the stock on the day I was here was often a bit tatty but prices were still fairly high (for me, anyway). Loathe to criticise as shops like this are few and far between - but no bargains to be had.

Evergreen Livres is the perfect second-hand book-shop, an Aladdin's cave of unexpected delights. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, there are comfortable chairs to sit and browse in, and a knowledgable and amusing owner on hand to give help if needed. Although the shop is small, there are books on a wide range of subjects. You will find long-forgotten treasures and probably leave with books you never knew you wanted! Wonderful.
