I purchased my bike from Evans in Dec 2019. The service was excellent from James. I’ve visited the store a few times since most recently in Feb 2023. Most recently I was looked after by George. The staff at this store are very knowledgeable, friendly and really take their time to explain things to you. Definitely recommend this store.
Friendly staff, excellent service. Lots of bikes and they didn't mind me trying a couple of bikes around the shop. Very helpful. Will definitely be back to collect mountain bike I ordered .
Bought a £4500 bike last week, rear brake went to the bars on 3rd ride l, less than a week later, so clearly letting air in. Sheffield store wouldn't even look at it for 1.5 weeks.. Took it to the Nottingham branch who fixed it in 20 mins while I waited. Notts branch> Sheffield branch.
I’ve just picked up a new bike with the cycle to work scheme and the whole team were brilliant. There were a lot of bits to sort but Ben and the team were excellent and made it very simple to sort. It was first new bike in 20+ years and Ben was very patient to show me how the new tech worked which was very helpful. Great experience - thank you!
Had an e bike bought me as a retirement present from halfords but couldnt get on with the saddle .. had to buy one from amazon as halfords didn't stock oversize ones i visited my local branch and asked them to swap saddles over to be told it cant be done because a bracket was welded to new saddle plus other complications .. so i visited evans cycles on queens road sheffield and explained my predicament.. in little under 10 min it was sorted .. found my go to cycle shop Thanks lads
Brought a bike with suspicious brakes into evans and was seen by isaac - rather than keep me off the road for weeks, he was able to assess, diagnose and treat the problem in less than ten minutes, and didn’t charge me for his time - fantastic and very much appreciated!
The store manager - Ben was a great help to me regarding choosing the right bike.

Took bike for service but only made bike worse. Waste of £50! Needed my front mech adjusting but was told it was broke and needed a new one. Took it else where and they fixed/adjusted it in couple of minutes. Adjusted my brakes which caused them to wear fast! They adjusted them incorrectly so ended up with a groove in all 4 of my pads! Waste of time and money for a service as they guy obviously didn't have much of a clue. Won't ever go back there!
Usually really good service in here but the rude little midget who was behind the desk today look up as if I’d interrupted her personal time although I probably did as she didn’t have a uniform on. Then asked her colleague if they sold cassette spacers and was met by a cascade of whys, what for, and your wrong kinda look! How to make a customer feel not welcome. Get this member of staff off the shop floor one of the worst cases of customer service!
