Picked up a 10 month old Vauxhall Astra SRI for my wife yesterday. Lots of car for the price paid! The staff at the Chessington Carstore were absolutely brilliant. No hard sell. Happy to answer all our questions. A genuine pleasure to do business with them. Specific mention to Terry and Hamza, as we had most contact with them, but to Jodie and Rosie too. They will be my first call when I come to change my own car.
I was very impressed with the flexibility of Evans Halshaw. They were courteous and helpful, bringing the car from miles away for me to see it and again bringing it to my mechanic for him to have a look at. Made the whole process easy. The warranty is helpful for peace of mind too and reasonably priced. The team Hamza and Terry were great. I would feel confident buying from them again and I got the sense that they really care about treating the customer well. This is not a rip off car dealer !
Took my car here today after receiving a valuation via email. I went in fully expecting them to knock the amount by a few hundred. Was amazed that they offered me slightly more! £1000 more than a valuation from We buy any car and £1700 more than what I was quoted for part ex by various garages! A great experience all around -friendly staff and all sorted within the hour. And to top it off the money appeared in my bank account the same day! Highly recommend these people! A big thank you to Matthew who was really friendly and so helpful!
Used the move my car scheme & the car arrived within 4 working days. It was in an immaculate condition, and the salesman, Tommy, had taken the time to do some homework so he could answer my questions. Everyone in the office was very pleasant. I also part exchanged my old car, and the price given was as good as We Buy Any Car, and better than the dealership I had been in the week before. Very happy with the service and with my new car.
I detest selling cars but we were dealt with really well by Matthew at Chessington. Friendly, knowledgeable and down-to-earth, we didn't feel as if we were being given any flannel at any time. We were really pleased with the final price offered and the money was in the bank a working day later. No rip-off 'admin' fees either. I would recommend these guys and I would use them again in future. Thanks very much Matthew :
Sold our car recently, the whole process was simple and efficient. Received quote on-line on Thursday, booked appointment on Sunday for car to be sold. The whole process of checking the car, confirming the value and filling the paperwork took 45 mins. Jodie was helpful in explaining the process and efficient. The offer was in line with the quote. I had a brilliant experience at the Chessington Car Store, Rosie and Jodie were very welcoming, even made me a coffee as I looked over the car I came to see. There was no "pressure selling" going on here and the staff were very friendly. The Evans Halshaw 'Move me closer' service is brilliant too - read about it. Had a very good experience. The car was moved nearer to me from Lincoln and I was able to test drive and collect the same day. Great car, well-priced, nice team and gave me a good deal on my part-exchange. So very happy.
