Busy fuel station . Has the benifit of a shop. And subway outlet. The usual Costa machine and cash machine are there. The loss of a star is there is often a lack of till staff causing waiting beyond reasonable . And the toilets are seriously lacking and basic at best

It's hard to write reviews for petrol stations as they're all pretty much the same. Petrol pumps, kiosk with sweeties front and centre to tempt you into buying. Magazines, car accessories, cardboard tasting food and overpriced everything. Once you've been in one you've pretty much been in all the petrol stations. It's no longer the case that someone will come out and tend to you. Though for the price of fuel, I'd pretty much expect a back rub and well I won't go any further with that thought.

This place has always been very useful to the local community and since it's modernisation is even better. Fule costs are usually competitive. The large spar shop with integrated Subway deli and seating area is a great idea. The staff are very helpfull and friendly and the opening times are great.

Always have to queue up for people to buy bread, pay for electric, post a parcel. For gods sake its a petrol station......

Now normally I wouldn't be as sad as review a Petrol garage, but having go bored and done Sainsbury's down the road I felt it wouldn't be fair not to review this one. Buying fuel is part of the mundane bit of motoring, marketing new cars never starts off with the putting fuel in. Unfortunately I was low on fuel at an awkward time of day (around 11:00 pm) when most sensible garages have gone home to bed and most sensible motorists have filled up and gone home. The only garage open within a fumes distance was this one. I have to say the experience was ..........just like any other fill up, but later than normal and under the glare of extremely bright forecourt lights. The pumps didn't do pay at pump so I had to interact with another human being who turned out to be rather nice and pointed out I could buy four Mars bars for a pound (special offer) which I did. In summary though, altogether average, in a normal way.
