I have been a regular user of this garage. Recently went to put air in one of my tyres. Put 50p in the machine, but the compressor was not working and no air was pumped in. Told the guy at the desk, who reset the machine and told me to try again. Put in another 50p, still not working. Went to ask for my £1 back and was told the garage had a "no refund policy". I complained that you can't charge for a service and then not provide the service. I asked the attendant to call his boss, which he did. After the call he told me his boss had said "why are you calling me? Tell the customer to go away." I have gone away, and won't be back.
Good bit cheaper than other fuel stations in the area. Great self use Jwtwash as well. It only accepts coins but is really good value for money. I was able to get my van washed for £4!
Creepy guy at the till kept me waiting for a long time whilst he would serve other customers THAT WERE BEHIND me in the queue. He did this to allow himself time to flirt with me asking me personal questions e even invited me to meet him in Edinburgh. I responded to him in a friendly manner , but i left the place feeling extremely uncomfortable. Such a creepy and disrespectful manner ! A few days later my sister experienced the exact same behaviour from this guy. Because of this, my sister and I avoid buying at this petrol station when we see that this guy is at the till. Others working there are usually friendly and decent. It’s just this creepy guy I cannot stand .
Friendly chap served me and at time of visiting was one of the cheapest places for branded petrol in the area. Shop was clean overall happy! Not much more I can say ... It's a petrol station !
Told I couldn't get cashback when paying for fuel but the air machine is cash only. Didn't have my card because I was paying contactless on my phone, so I went to go get cash from the place I'd been working and in the 10 mins it took me to return the electricity was off to the air machine. I didn't know they were going to close so soon, the server made no indication of this when I explained I couldn't use the cash machine because I only had my phone and I needed to fill my tyres. He said he couldn't help me. When I arrived back with pound coins for the air machine, the guy that was serving me drove off, leaving me unable to fill the air in my tires to safely drive the 25 miles home. There are no more trains. Without any other petrol stations open, I am stranded.
Purchased fuel plus a Platinum Car wash. Absolutely no soap during wash so informed the attendant behind the counter, tall aged man. His response was that the soap is full and if I had a problem, I was to come back tonight and speak to the manager. Not even a mention of a refund. Upon leaving there was a car going through the car wash, I says, "Look, there's no soap being dispensed" , the attendant says, there's nothing he can do...... I then asked if he thought he should put a sign out informing customers that it's not dispensing soap if the machine had soap in it do that we're not being ripped off? His response was that he's not allowed to leave the till...............not even for the toilet? Having checked previous reviews I see this isnt the first incident with there car wash to which they choose to ignore the complaint and continues to RIP OFF CUSTOMERS!!!! My advice to all......avoid this garage completely, there's Tesco's fuel station on the otherside of town with a far better attitude to customer service.
Put money into the car wash machine which didn't work. Couldn't get my money back. The garage gave us a card and told us to contact them about our £5.30 not retrieved. No answer. Left a message. Still no response. Cheeky.
Good service 90%of the time, one employee has just lost them another six customers, please boss , show him a steel toe cap
I went in 2 this garage and I am being rip off with this garage or Esso. I always buy the premium fuel for my car. I have contacted Esso 2. The price off diesel the normal stuff is £109. I paid over 40 pence more for the premium fuel at £1.45 what rip off. The premium fuel use to be about 10 pence more. Not just Esso doing the shell garage in Musselburgh was the same. Contacted shell 2. One unhappy customer
