Been looking for a beetle convertible for a few years now. Saw and test drove what looked like a good car a week ago and put a deposit down. As everyone says, a no pressure sale with David,who is a lovely guy. However, on returning home we became a bit sceptical about the full service history as advertised, as book not stamped. After a bit of investigating, we could find no manufacturers service record for first three years at least, so decided to walk away, losing our deposit in the process. A lesson learned, we should have questioned more at time of putting deposit down....putting things politely.

Got an amazing stunning blue zetec s. I love it. The main man is the nicest dealer I have ever met. Deffo recommend this dealership. I traveled about 100 miles for my car and it was so worth it. Thanks guys.

Hi David and Team at Alistair Buchan. Apologies for the delay in writing this feedback! I bought my Seat Leon FR back in October and I haven't looked back since. I love my new car and the driving experience is amazing. David met us with a cheerful greeting and a smile and basically left us to look at the seat and test drive. We loved this as, for me, there is nothing worse than stepping onto a forecourt an a salesman approach within 1 minute of this, it really puts me on the back foot. However, David put us right at ease. The process of purchasing the care went so smoothly, no hiccups at all. When we arrived to pick up the car, David had stayed late for us which was so kind. He also offered to get us Dinner from the local deli down the road as it was tea time! You don't get that kind of personal service at the bigger dealers. Professionalism from start to finish. I needed a repair to the car which was carried out with no issue, courtesy car provided as well. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new vehicle, can't say anymore other than, OUTSTANDING, thank you Regards Tracy and David

We had an altogether good experience with Alistair Buchan Ltd. They are quietly hospitable and easy to do business with. The car was well presented when we visited. It was the best of four we viewed across Scotland and they are clearly selective about what they buy in. The car was priced correctly for a Volvo XC90 of its age, specification and mileage. They were happy for us to test drive ourselves. The points I highlighted - limited life front tyres, cosmetic damage to rear bumper - were properly taken care of pre-delivery, as were a couple of other issues they identified as part of their checks. On delivery it looked great and drives very well. Recommended.

Contacted them about a car, left my email and number but they wouldn't do me the courtesy of getting back with any kind of reply. I would definitely not recommend, you wouldn't want to have bought a car off of them and had a problem if they can't be arsed to help when you are trying to buy one.
