Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. If you have any electrical issues especially with the dashboard/cluster instrument going to limp mode and struggling to start please call them. I phoned up Monday morning and they fitted me in within 2 hours and fixed it as well. All my problems went away and today my car passed its MOT. Lady on the phone was very polite helpful and understood the issues I experienced and will definitely use them again.
Fixed my s-max gauges after someone else had virtually rendered them scrap. Very professional and customer service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this company. Great warranty as well. Go here first before you even consider going anywhere else. Thanks guys and all the best for the future
First time using this company to repair Land Rover gear selector module issue and I am very happy overall . Dropped faulty unit at 3pm and got it repaired in 45 mins at a fraction of a cost a competitor would of charged . Excellent
Focus cluster repair. I'm from Hemel and couldn't get a repair here, so gave these guys a call. Brilliant service, great customer care and great price. Nick was more than helpful, he told me over the phone how to remove the cluster. They received it on a Friday afternoon, it was repaired and back out to be returned to me by closing time. I got it back the following Monday due to weekends and it works a dream. 3 weeks of limp mode and eventually not starting, I am back on the road thanks to these guys. Highly recommend them to anyone.

Awesome service, booked in for next day drop off after my 2005 ford focus dash was slowly going more haywire. Even though it looks like someone else previously attempted to "fix" it and botched it, Essex recons were able to successfully repair and save my cluster with great communication all the way. Thanks!

Very helpfull people, sorted my sons car issue, and supplied exactly what we needed.
I started having intermittent warnings in my Mk2 Focus engine malfunction, ABS failure etc. and the car was dying or going into limp/reduced acceleration mode. I found out that this was a common issue, specifically relating to the instrument cluster soldering. Having looked for a place to have the cluster fixed, I chose Essex Recons based on previous reviews. I gave them a call, booked the repair online and sent the cluster off YouTube search for how to remove it. It was fixed within a day and returned by tracked mail, so I was back on the road after 2 days. I'm very happy with the work, which has fixed my issues, and the customer service was excellent. The price was also bang on.
Fantastic service and great communication. Spoke to Nick, who was extremely helpful. He explained what info I needed and how to find it. He managed to dispatch the pump same day and I received the next. Pump was fitted and my daughters car passed its MOT. returned her pump in exchange the next day in the box provided which was pre-paid for return. Piece of cake! Thanks Nick.
