Genuinely fail to see how this company is still in business. I’m guessing from charging extortionate rates to insurance companies. Second car delivered in two days is embarrassing. First car had engine management light on, required maintenance and stunk of wet dog. Second car delivered today looks like it hasn’t been deep cleaned since new. The dirt is engrained on the doors and inside.nThe accident wasn’t my fault and now I am stuck driving this. They should be ashamed sending cars out like this. Unfortunately I have no choice to go elsewhere as it is what my insurance company have selected. Avoid at all costs and go elsewhere

We can highly recommend Enterprise Torquay Car Hire. The service is excellent and the car is of good quality. We would particularly like to emphasise the extremely service-oriented and friendly employee Shannon.

Booked a hire vehicle to take to Guildford for the weekend as our vehicles clutch was on the way out. Paid for it all online went to collect the vehicle Friday morning we were about to pay the £200 deposit when the company did a light credit check which I’ve never heard of before and my partner somehow failed this check even tho we had our id and proof of address etc. we were denied using the vehicle. If this is the case with enterprise then why not do a credit check online before we take payment for the hire vehicle. We were told by the branch manager Ollie that we would receive an email from him regarding a refund which was promised straight away and we still have only heard from him as we rang the branch direct on Monday as we hadn’t heard anything about the refund.nnNearly a week on and we still haven’t heard anything else.nnVery disappointed customers will not be using or recommending to anyone else.nIf I could put 0 stars I would but it’s a 1star

Hired 2 vans from them recently, first van was good, could of done with a proper clean in the cab first but wasn't the end of the world. Second van 2 weeks layer was a joke. Firstly we booked and paid for an extra long wheel base, when I went to pick it up I pointed out they were trying to give a smaller van than what I had booked. The member of staff said they would look into and call me back but they didn't have an XLWB. So I had no choice then but to take the smaller one. The cab was not clean. About 20 miles into my journey a warning message came up on the dash telling me I only had 100 miles until no engine start as it needed ad blue. When they phoned me to discuss the wrong van situation I advised them of this and they said I needed to go to my nearest enterprise to get it topped up. The van was due to be back by 18:00 that day. I pointed out that due to giving me the wrong van and now having to take an hour out of my day to get the ad blue which should have been topped up before I picked up the van I wasn't going to get everything done in time so asked if I could keep the van until the next morning. They agreed but felt as if they were trying to make out theybwere doing me a big favour when it was their mistakes that led to me having to do more trips and take more time. After all this I then got an email from enterprise explaing that when I hired the first van I had gone in a bus lane and received a fine. They charged me £35 admin fees to change the driver details. Now I'm fine with that, happy to pay the penalty for going in a bus lane as it was my mistake, but they have charged me admin fees and I hadn't heard anything else so I called the council to ask about the fine as it had been 6 weeks since issued and they informed me that enterprise hasn't declared a different driver or done anything about the fine. They've charged me fees for stuff they haven't done. The vans were for personal use and w9nt be hiring vehicles from then again. I will also be discussing with my office as we usually use enterprise for corporate hires  and will be suggesting to them that we change to a different company
