Stayed from 31st March to 6 Apr. Lovely family-run hotel tats really good value for money. Room was clean and the location makes it very easy to get to city centre. The lady who's at times on site is very helpful and friendly. Requests for additional amenities are always attended to promptly. Will definitely stay here again if I'm to come to York in future.
One night stay in York not a bad location 30mins away from city centre.nHotel was OK room, bed, sheets and bathroom were clean , although we did get woken up at 1.45am to the fire alarm false alarm btwand had to wait outside for 10 mins before the owner arrived to switch it off. Would possible stay there again just for one night
My stay in York was short and spending my nights at the residence made things really easier. It is really clean, cosy and most importantly I could walk to the university. I could get all I wanted from Aldi which is only 5 minutes away. It was really pleasant. Thank you Emerald residence.
At arrival we managed to get the key before the actual check in time. I called the number and the housekeeper very kindly gave me the key card and showed me how to open doors for later on. We were so lucky to have a family room even if it was just the two of us. We stayed in room 3 at ground floor. There was plenty of space and lots of tea and coffee and a small fridge as well. The bathroom is awesome, brand new with a huge shower and very clean. We like staying in Fulford because it's much quieter than the city centre. The bus stop is very close and busses run every 15 minutes. Perfect for us!
Awfull room, coat hangers on wall for wardrobe, bed must have been 20 years old, a old school chair to watch the 10 inch television.
