First of all, the visa application system they made from last oct,2023 is like hell. Didn’t get any appointment in BLS after trying for last 2 months. My whole holiday package money is in water.. Then for visa information I tried to contact with embassy multiple times. They don't receive call in the number they provided.
You're sent back and fourth, round in circles speaking with rude staff. Nobody wants to help at all. Useless service.
Wouldn't even give it 1 star! Was ringing through for 10 minutes and they just hung up on me!!!
A Great Orator The promise of audience participation kept the conversations in full flow across the room. An invitation to ask questions was the framework of the engaging conversations that were spoken during an event held on the first Thursday morning of October 2023. A plethoric sense of formal fluidity exhibited in its neutralities to each topic of conversation. The name Marco translates as 'Great Speaker' in Spanish and the Ambassador for Spain to the United Kingdom proudly embodies that sentiment. May each attendee wish Mr Marco and the rest of his team the best endeavours for the future.
Wouldn't even give it 1 star! Was ringing through for 10 minutes and they just hung up on me!!! Fuming. Flying out in 2 weeks and we need to know whether we need to prove we have a certain amount of euros per day of our stay and how we need to prove it. We don't have credit cards, we don't want to take it all in cash with us. We were planning on transferring all our money into revolut and getting it exchanged into euros that way but I'm not sure how to prove the amount of money we have. even though we are all inclusive
Very disappointed. I was not explained enough and left the premises with doubts about my enquiry. Staff was very quick to respond but with useless information. They recommend to sort the situation myself as a result. Too much people working there with apparently not much to do as all I could see was people hanging around and chatting to each other chilling with a drink. Awful.
I contacted the consulate section of the embassy of Spain in London, United Kingdom about a 5 year multiple entry Schengen Visa. I explained this option was not available with their third party BLS and asked for guidance on what I needed to apply for this. I got a response that asked me to contact the consulate in the country I wished to apply from I did, UK, London. They then proceeded to give me the contact details including an email address. Now here is the kicker, the email address they gave me is the one they were responding from! You can’t really make this up. If you do not want to work and respond to emails it’s better not to respond at all.
Amazing building. So much history behind it. People moaning about the services etc. You have the wrong place. This is the embassy not the consulate. Yet you moan about being given false info
E mailed them in desperation as my mother's age 95 Spanish pension had stopped. The UK postal strikes had ensured the legal documents providing proof of life had arrived too late to Madrid. The UK state pension is a fraction of the Spanish state pension. Within 24 hours the embassy contacted me to tell me they had called Madrid, and in short, her pension was re-instated. Really can't praise the fabulous service enough.
Be prepared for a bad experience, unhelpful staff, unsupportive and rude. Also, without counting the difficulty of getting an online appointment and the 95%possibility of that you are 'missing' a document for renewal your passport or visa.
