Had the vegetarian halloumi fajitas it was lovely would recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to go back and try the other vegetarian options
Had a Boxing Day meal booked here however our baby became poorly last minute therefore we wouldn’t have been able to sit in the restaurant. I called them an hour before our booking to make them aware and asked if we could have it to take away instead. Arrived to pick up the food and it was all separated and written on clearly, they explained what everything was, how to reheat if needed and put all of our desserts separate for us to keep them cold. They even knocked £10 off the bill for not eating in even though we’d given them short notice. They wished us the best with our baby and overall were so lovely. Ate the meal at home and not a single fault can be said, one of the best meals we’ve had, amazing portion sizes and will definitely be returning in the future.
revisited again after 3years. the standard of food and service were good. they are doing specical lunch £7 soup and toasty, £5 omelette and salad. the smoked haddock and slow cooked belly pork were delicious We arrived at 1pm on friday, it was already quite busy. my recommendation is to book advance to guarantee seats. sandwiches are in generous portions. steak and potato pies is tasty.
Ate here on a Wednesday afternoon. We hadn't booked but the staff managed to squeeze us in at the last minute. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the slow-roasted pork belly and it was cooked to perfection.
Visited here before years ago and it was decent Picked it for its location for a first date. My friend said his pie was okay..I had a halloumi salad..which was the worst salad and potatoes I've ever had. I won't be coming back here. It's very expensive for low standard food. Service was fine but no atmosphere.
Lovely place, super delicious food and extremely friendly staff! We went for a meal with working team and we have enjoyed everything! Also, lovely landscape from the window! Definitely will be back!
Just dropped in on the off chance. Beautiful pub. Staff very freindly and gave a great service. Food brilliant, fresh and very reasonably priced.
