I used Ellis Briggs after doing some research and looking at other cycle restoration and paint business. Ellis Briggs always has good reviews and happy customers. My experience was very good indeed, from the initial dealing to the finish of the final product. The cycle frame came back looking stunning and brought back so many memories. I would highly recommend Ellis Briggs to anyone.

I used Ellis Briggs Cycles because of them being long established (I have known them since I started cycling in the early 80's). In November 2017 they refurbished my Tierney 1983 Frame made from Reynolds 531C tubing. The chrome, enamel & decal application were excellent, as was the final clear top coat. The frame now looks like new & the bike is back to its former glory. The price & timescale were totally competitive, particularly when you consider the quality of the workmanship. Paul & Elena were most helpful & I can do no more than fully recommend Ellis Briggs Cycles. Andrew Duxbury

Had my bike serviced here before Christmas. All good. Recently the gears were all messed up after the bike was blown over in the wind full stop it was accepted in when the shop wasn't open, fixed the next working day and back on the road working smoothly again comma so all good in my experience.

Fantastic effort and quick service by the technicians who modified the chainset on my Rocky Mountain so I could have a great weekend on the trails at Glentress.

Disabled reviews on FB page, what else is being hidden? Delivered frame and fork 18th December 2017. March 9th work complete and final payment inc delivery paid. Then nothing,phone in shop not working,e mails unanswered. March 21st no frame chased up,received response from Paul the following day, apology and assurance frame would be sent that day along with a tracking reference.Again quiet, no contact, no tracking number, no frame. Sent further email again unanswered.Called the shop on March 29th to be told the frame in shop as it hadn’t been collected by the courier, no efforts made to address this, apparently; “been up to my neck”. Paul was unable to offer any other excuse, again made assurances the bike would go that day along with a mumbled apology which lacked anything genuine. A real shame the history and values on which this shop has been built aren’t being taken forward and used today, they now seem to have morphed in what we’ve come to expect from modern business. Be prepared to chase the work every step of the way.
