I purchased a "Fast Road" ITB kit for an ST170 conversion. Really nicely made and great value for money. Also very convenient with almost all of the bits needed to get up and running included. Has now been fitted for a year and done around 6,000 miles, the car has been used almost daily including for a trip to Le Mans last year and i have had no issues with it thus far. Support has been fantastic both via telephone and with the User Group on Facebook great resource! and the base maps provided were also a big help to get it running before taking it for its initial map in. Many thanks to the DanST team!
Dan has done the last 3 maps on my Porsche - his knowledge, ability to troubleshoot, and professionalism shine through every time. Whilst DanST Engineering is 2 hours away for me I wouldn’t trust anyone else to map my car. I’ve also used DanST’s services in making custom fuel injection parts too and again the quality is second to none. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his products and services and indeed I often do!
Great bunch of guys who are always happy to help! I've had my car tuned twice there and have a set of ITB's from Dan on my Mk1 Mx5. Even when I had issues fitting the set due to a bottom-mounted throttle arm fouling on a solenoid they were happy and able to help over the phone. Can't recommend them enough.
I chose Danst as I wanted bike carbs fitted to my 205 and I wanted them tuned so they would be reliable as I'm going to do a very long charity event in Morocco this year. I found the whole team very helpful and friendly. Dan spent a long time with it on the rolling road to ensure the car ran as good as it could. On the long drive home Fareham on the south coast the car was brilliant and much improved from standard. I would recommend them and use them again.
You get what you pay for, great quality and good after sales. Have achieved amazing throttle response and some brilliant noises from my bike carb kit paired with the Newman cam.
+100£ of undesired products that I had to paid 20% customs for, despite the fact I sent email and message and that I asked return before the dispatch ±3 month of waiting from the first contact to make it happen, and 1+ month after having them sent a gasket to cut the flange But finally happy with the final product. Hope this is dimensionally OK.
Made the long journey from worcestershire to have my mk2 escort setup using one of there bike carb setups with a me100 ecu, Excellent service and great final result of 197bhp,would definitely recommend Cheers
Dan and the lads from Danst have been involved in my westfield engine build From 2022. I could not praise these lads and higher, wether it’s over the phone advice to actually carrying out work on the engine itself these guys have gone above and beyond throughout the whole process.with a fantastic finished product using their supplies cams and throttle bodies, Thanks again Danst I will definitely be back
I was sent a carb manifold for my VW 16V that had the intake runners welded on the wrong side of the manifold plate. I reached out to Danst, Harry admitted fault, and had me send it back from the US I paid $90 out of pocket for the shipping, not reimbursed however, only to recieve another manifold that doesn't have the vacuum ports on the intake runners I originally ordered. Their proposal to fix this was to "take it to a local machine shop, we can give a partial refund". I'm out $215 for one incorrect manifold, $90 for RMA shipping for the 2nd incorrect manifold, and now another $75-$80 and my time to have a fab shop weld in bungs. Buyer beware, I still haven't received the partial refund either.
Loads of help with identifying and some bike throttle bodies I have and them fabricating a manifold to suit ST170 engine. Highly recommended.
