Purchased our second bed last week with Elephant beds. Amazing range of beds coupled with brilliant customer service! Already arrived and sleeping on it! Best night sleep I’ve had in a long time. The team were full of advice which means I’ve walked with exactly what I wanted!
I was concerned after reading one or two negative views. The bed came after three weeks, all the parts were there ect, put it together and I'm happy with the bed to be honest.
Couldn't have had a better experience in a shop, the staff were extremely helpful and the bed I ended up purchasing was the same as my experience, 10/10. If you're look for a new bed, this shop is the winner.
Bought a two drawer double divan bed here in 2020, just as Covid was hitting. Waited 3 weeks for delivery only to be told the model I'd chosen wasn't available. So they offered me the next best bed instead - upon arrival I quickly found damage & wear?? I was later told this bed had been used in their showroom...they'd delivered a used bed!!!!! Not happy with this, I contacted them & was told they'd send another 'new bed' - but by now we'd gone into lockdown & so I had to wait months, not weeks for delivery. The months went by, when lockdown ended no bed was delivered. This was now 2021. So after a month of more waiting, I had to message them to rearrange delivery - I was then told this 'other bed' too wasn't available/not in stock at the warehouse...I had to wait another 5 weeks! When they finally arrived I was happy with the bed I'd received - but the fact is they'd tried to palm me off with a used bed, even though I'd paid for a brand new one!
fantastic service! I have just moved house and needed a new bed. Elephant beds helped me so much with their advice and the quality was amazing. The staff are all so friendly and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family! Thank you so much!
I do not recommend Elephant Beds at all and would advise caution to anyone considering ordering anything from them. Purchasing the bed was absolutely fine but then that was the point where we gave them almost a £1,000, so that’s not surprising We ordered a new bed and were told there would be a four week delivery due to covid and that this could stretch to six weeks, which we agreed was fine. Six weeks later we hadn’t heard anything so telephoned the store to be told initially there were problems with the factory and then also that there were problems with the fabric. We were assured another two weeks and the bed would be delivered. A few weeks later we got a phone call saying the bed was ready for delivery, great I thought! The day of the delivery came and first thing in the morning we had a phone call from the store saying that they had ordered the wrong bed. I asked if I could have a refund and was told no, so I had no other option but to wait, we agreed to wait another four weeks at which point they would allow me my money back. Four weeks later I phoned the store and was told the bed had in fact just come in so we arranged delivery. Delivery was horrendous: A week later two delivery guys delivered the bed, they marked all the paint going up my stairs, took a chunk out of the plaster and smashed an antique candle from the wall, they then left very quickly! I phoned the shop and was told they take no responsibility for delivery damages, he offered me a measly £50 which I have not yet received. Unfortunately this was not the end of the drama…. The bed came with no paperwork, but when my husband took everything out of the packaging to build the bed it was the wrong size, we ordered a double and received a king!!!! We had no choice but to build the bed as our other one had been broken down. We could not wait another six weeks for a replacement, so with very little choice we bought a mattress from them. They agreed to sell us this at cost but still nowhere near good enough, we shouldn’t have had to be out of pocket anymore than we already were… But at this point I was so frustrated and upset that I just wanted to have any dealings with them over with! All in all the experience was a complete nightmare, our property was damaged which will cost us significantly. Also, we now have an incorrect size bed so have had to replace the mattress and all of the bedding which has also significantly cost us. Customer service is awful Delivery is awful. Beware
