We are still waiting for the aftercare team to contact us. We have had no visits in relation to snagging as promised. Poor Service!

They promise everything but even let you down on your move date. Ours was delayed by 7 days, 10 days before we were due to move in and someone else on our street was told they were delayed by a weekend on the Friday they were due to move in. Awful aftercare. We have had numerous issues and the aftercare team are often unwilling/unable to help. Trades are left to their own devices at every stage with work going unchecked and repairs repeatedly completed unsatisfactorily. The trades they use also frequently do not turn up or actually complete any work. I have personally taken over 5 weeks off work in my first year of owning an Elan home to deal with snagging issues, most of which should have been sorted before we moved in or at first or second time of repair.

I have been working with Elan Homes for over 6 years. A fantastic company to deal with, both professional and friendly.

Impossible to get hold of! Having bought a home last year with numerous issues, their aftercare team have proved impossible to contact by phone. Once you do get through they are polite and helpful but builders don't turn up when agreed and often arrive with no notice. Very poor aftercare.

Think very carefully before buying from Elan Homes. As one of the other reviewers has stated their customer service is atrocious. They failed to properly install drainage to the site that has led to several homes in the area suffering from water logged gardens and flooding. It got so bad we had to call the fire brigade out on one occasion. It has taken 2 1/2 years to resolve the problems because of delays on their part and the way they do the absolute minimum to resolve issues. We are now heading into a legal battle for compensation.
