Story

'El Gaucho' was the first Argentine Steakhouse to open in London in 1990 situated in Chelsea Farmer's Market. Now situated in South Kensington, El Gaucho brings you a lively and atmospheric lunch and dinner experience. We bring you imported, grass-fed beef from 'Las Pampas' in Argentina and a fine selection of wines from Mendoza.

Excellent food and service. Been twice and will definitely use often as we live in the area. It's very intimate and recommend booking. Intimate and cosy.
Absolutely fantastic steak. Friendly and prompt service. Love it here.
Do not get their lunch set menu, unseasoned undercooked chicken with over cooked chips and two dry pieces of bread. Awful.
Average steaks Rib eye and Filet. Cooked to order and good service despite the resturaunt being full.
It's on the pricey side but their food is the closest to Argentina that I've eaten so far. The empanadas are delicious! The music is definitely not from Argentina though haha
Great place to eat typical Argentinian food!
If you are a fan of tasty meat, this is definitely a place for you. Nice Argentinian style interior, portions serced from authentic flank. It's also worth of mentioning that they have nice collections of wine's as well and the price level us decent.
This place never disappoints!! The food is awesome, and it is our go to place when we are in a small group or we feel like having a delicious stake! And it is definitely the best value for money! Highly recommended!
Nothing to do with Argentina. Chef told us to go to McDonald's if we want better food. Quite offensive. We just did not like the menu
