Really really amazed by the kindness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the knowledge of international menus. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy quality food with a posh presentation at a very reasonable price. Congratulations: you've got 5 * from me. I am very impressed. If you want to impress someone, this is the place to do it !
Definatly Style over Substance Food looked nice but wasn't actually very good. Wanted a mixed kebab but without Lamb and was told no as they were too busy to just have the chicken and Chorizo one not very helpful. Chorizo was chewy almost rubbery & chicken was hard and over cooked don't get me wrong the kebab looked great on the plate just didn't really taste of anything well apart from cucumber there were loads of them. Starters weren't very good either prawns were quite bland and I had the chorizo but sent that back wish I'd have been quick enough to change my kebab to just chicken and got the haloumi fries which were ok. Wouldn't return even the deserts were bland its a nice place but £5.45 a pint is just ridiclious and everything simply looked better than it was. Edit - Unable to comment on your reply so adding it here. We did inform a member of staff at the time and she was quite obnoxious and unhelpful.
First time ...coeliac me and enjoyed having my own menu ....too much for a change spoilt for choice ...enjoyed every bit ...went with the family...empty plates all around ...x defo be back xFood: 5/5
With trepidation we took 3 children for Sunday lunch today . The staff were wonderful , making us feel very welcome and the waitress had a lovely approach with the little ones. The food was good and service superb - they even got the food out for the toddlers in advance. Thank you for your welcome and a lovely family experience. Parking: Plenty of space to park even at a premium time
First time we've visited and 100% wont be our last. Being greeted with a smile really does work. Staff Brilliant. Food Exceptional. Good size portions. Great value. We've finally found somewhere were you dont leave disappointed. Bravo !!
Great menu selection, lovely friendly efficient staff who mad us very welcome and extremely dog friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and surroundings. Hard to judge atmosphere as not particularly busy whilst we were there . We will definitely return. Vegetarian options: Lovely vegetarian options and pescetarian , spoilt for choice
Absolutely phenomenal. Just visited for a Bank Holiday lunch. Amazing menu from hanging Mediterranean kebabs to succulent Iberian pork belly. Generous and varied children's menu, and superb value. Service was excellent - wonderfully friendly staff. Would give 6 stars if I could, and already planning a return visit. EDIT: Just had the return visit and now I'd given them 7 stars. Staff superb on new years day and brought out a birthday cake for our son who was utterly delighted. Food divine. Value superb. Absolutely hooked. Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices including hanging hallomi kebabs Kid-friendliness: Two children's menus, Little Ego for under 5s and Junior Ego for 5+. Superb value, good choice and very generous portions. Parking: Lots of spaces in a large car park.
We had lovely meal on half price steak Tuesday. Excellent food. Our waitress was Heather who was lovely and very efficient and is a credit to your restaurant.
Four of us went for dinner here for the first time on a recommendation. Arrived on time at 5.30pm, waited a short while to be seated and then again, to have our order taken. Starters arrived around 6.20. No worries, we weren't in a rush. Nothing to complain about with the starters, all tasty. Mains. I ordered the turkey with roasted baby potatoes. It was mainly a big ball of stuffing with a thin later of turkey wrapped round...nothing like the photo on the website. Spuds not roasted just boiled. Son ordered duck, pink. This was overdone and the red cabbage was inedible. Husband and daughter got steak...overdone...not pink at all. The waitress then came over as soon as we'd finished and ask us to move as they needed table back by 7!! Told her we didn't get our starters till nearly half six and she didn't respond, just stared at her watch!! Also asked where my roasties went to, in a jokey way, and she denied it says roasted on the menu...I've checked...it does. Spent £150 for average food and to be rushed. So disappointed, wouldn't go back. I know it's Christmas and it's busy but don't overbook people in if you can't cope. Big Ego...not much substance unfortunately.
We had some lovely staff chat to us and look after us so well. They really did make the celebratory meal special. We'll definitely be returning after having some lovely food and a lovely time. Love that it's dog-friendly!!Food: 4/5
