Lovely family friendly park with play area. Beautifully planted and cared for lots of out door fun for the kids. Nice coffee shop and a short walk from the beach.

I have four under 5 and its just right for their age group and older. We love the pedalos and cafe. The cafe takes card over £5.

Lovely park and great fun for children. Did however manage to have a young child chasing after us the whole time until we left, he seemed nice enough, was just a bit bizarre for a family day out. There's an outdoor gym part and that's good fun. The toilets here are pretty vile in all honesty.

Nice and peaceful place with a good green area to play sports or just sit and contemplate life, for the more energetic of you there's an out door gym which also doubles as visual entertainment for those sitting and contemplating life - a lifetime of take aways doesn't go well with a pull up bar, but it's funny to watch. There's also a very picturesque lake to lose your football in but don't swim in it to rescue your ball ... it's really cold, and to top it all off there's a very reasonably priced cafe that sells decent food and not too shabby coffee ... all in all a good way to waste a sunny afternoon, if we get one, failing that take a brolly and something to sit on.

This park has been improved massively recently and has an open air gym as well as a boating lake and cafe. The children's play park has been improved greatly. The park sits just a 100 yards from the beach and so serves as a good alternative or addition to a visit to the seaside. There is also a museum.
