Brought a car and engine management light came on 1 mile down road. Phoned them took it back to be fixed on 4 separate occasions in space of 1 month. Still did not fix it. When I've tried contacting them again they have completely ignored me. Phone call,text msg and email no reply. It has cost me an extra £200 to get it fixed. I would not recommend buying a car from this garage. Cost me a lot of time and money. Will be going to trading standards
Never buy from this garage, bought a car months ago with a full 2 week warranty. They didn't agree to give me the money back within two weeks like they said initiallly when I bought the car. Have had it recovered 2 times and supposedly fixed by the garage but have the same resulting problem leaving me to believe they are not fixing the car. I believe this garage could be involved in scamming customers and will do everything with in my power to prevent them from doing this to other customers.
I recently bought my car from EG cars and found the service i received excellent, the staff were very professional , friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure doing business with them. The car i bought is great and is exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this company.
My partner brought a car from them and has nothing but trouble with it. He took it back to get it fixed on more than one occasion which they did not fix it and has left us out of pocket having to pay to get the fault fixed. I would not give 1star rating but can't give less. One very unhappy customer
Car broke down within 10 days of buying, cost over £1000, to fix, dealer wasn’t interested in helping and said go through warranty company, bloke shouldn’t be trading!! DO NOT BUY from this garage however good the vehicle looks. Hopefully this con man will get shutdown soon, disgusting how they run the company, absolutely fuming please look elsewhere for your cars!!
Don't waste your time. I booked a test drive and arranged a time. Called the morning of to say I'd be along at 2pm and confirm everything. After driving 55miles I arrived and was told they had sold the car before I called. I asked them to confirm they had sold the car and they replied yes and just laughed. No apology, no call to stop me wasting my journey, couldnt even explain to me why they didnt tell the morning i called them which was after they had already sold it. Nothing. We looked at the rest of the cars on the forecourt and counted 4 out of around 19 with flat tires and 3 others with illegal tyres no tread. Cowboy outfit.
I had a great experience with this company. They paid a very good price on my car as a part exchange and the quality of the car I bought from them is amazing. The salesman Heythor was very kind and professional.
EG cars is a rip off! 3 months warranty is a joke! There not willing to help even tho car still has warranty! Trading standerds on these jokers! Emailed and phoned to resolve this issue! But now they got there money they ain't intrested! Absolutely terrible
Dodgy place. Steer clear of it. They provide dodgy MOT’s if you require one. They buy the bottom cheapest cars at British Car Auctions and sell them for a big profit margin. The only thing they do is clean the cars. Any review above 1 star is fake or biased. One of thd reviewers that gave 5 stars, namely Diego Cahrvallo is one of the salesmen.
I have bought a micra 2002 that they said it was good.. So far the car is great no problem at all...
