This is my closest Ford Dealership and I naively expected great service from such a big company...I was completely wrong!! I rung up to book the appointment and was told the soonest they could do was in 2 weeks, so I booked it in for a Friday in 2 weeks time. I drove the car down on the Thursday evening before the appointment to make sure they had the car as early as possible for Friday. I waited until 13.45 on the Friday until I rang for the first time, I was rudely told by a receptionist called Sue that all the mechanics were on lunch and to call back later. So I called back at 14.30 and spoke to the same rude receptionist, this time I was told they hadn't even looked at the car yet. She then very rapidly hung up. My husband then rung up later that day and was told it had to stay there overnight and someone would call the next day (Saturday) after it had been looked at. Bare in mind they only had to plug it in and see what the fault was. So, my husband rung back again on Saturday and spoke to the very rude Sue, she told him someone would call and hung up on him whilst he was in mid conversation. By now we are both extremely upset with the service. A mechanic did finally ring my husband at 13.30 and fed him some line about having another number which he was trying (the other number was my mobile number and I had 0 calls from them). When my husband pointed this fact out to the mechanic he just owned up and said fair enough. He said we can pick the car up but they close in 30 mins (even though the website states they close at 17.00 not 14.00). We couldn't get in there in time so had to leave the car until Monday morning. So, in turn we booked the car in for an appointment on Friday for something which would have been very quick and ended up losing our car for 3 days. I must add, when I walked in to pick the car up, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who quickly pointed my in the right direction where I was helped by a lovely man. Before I could explain the ordeal we had been through he explained there will be no charge for the plug in they had done. I was blown away by the difference in customer service, if only you could train all your staff to treat customers like that!! All in all I will not be using this Ford dealership again!!!

The service department are appalling personally I would think twice before using this garage to look after your Ford. Today they should have collected my car for a service time quoted between 8am and 10am but they didn't arrive. On calling Rob the Service Manager at 10am he came across as if he couldn't care a less and said the collection driver would be with me at some point but hadn't even taken my paperwork as yet. I was also sat in reception two weeks prior to this after being told they would check my brakes and it would take 30 mins. Almost 2 and a half hours later after I chased the progress they eventually updated me. I have spoken to the Service Director to convey my disappointment in the way they operate. They need to communicate it's quite simple ! I will now be moving my business to an alternative garage who will value my business.

Pretend to do work then they act like its acceptable when you demonstrate it hasn't been completed. Never ring you back, keep you updated. Generally treat you with disregard.

Edwards ford don’t even deserve one star. I have never been treated in such a poor manner in my entire life. Poor service from the sales team and even worse from the service department. Brought my 2nd hand focus from them with 27000 miles on the clock in Nov. After driving the vehicle for two days noticed all sorts of issues. The list is to long to post. Booked the vehicle in and for having the vehicle for 3 days I received a phone call that my car would be ready on the Monday and everything was fixed. Arrived at 5pm Monday evening the service advisor couldn’t even remember who I was and then was told that my car wasn’t ready. After another 4days of no communication I then decided to ring and arranged to collect my car on the Saturday. Collected my vehicle on the Saturday to find only 1/3 of the work to be completed. Was also told that they were waiting on a part that should fix one of the faults and was not available till January. First two weeks of January pass no phone call. I then decided to call to be told the part will be in 5/6th feb. 14th of feb arrived after not hearing a peep from ford decided to ring again to be told the part had arrived a week ago! Rebooked my vehicle and after arriving to collect the cutesy car to find 5inchs of snow on it was left in the car park to clear it myself with no ice scrapper or anything to clear the snow. Decided to drive vehicle round to the workshop so someone could clear the snow with an air line or brush asked one of the technicians if he could help me to which he replied WHY and walked off. One helpful man did help me out in the end. The only helpful person in the building. My vehicle has now been with Edwards ford for 3 weeks now. Was meant to be ready on the Friday was not. Was meant to be ready on the following Monday, Monday comes no phone call. I phoned to be told it won’t be ready. Will be ready on Thursday. Thursday comes no phone call, I then ring again to be told I won’t be ready again. Why is it up to me to keep phoning to find out what is going on with my vehicle? Phoned this morning after again not hearing anything to find out that my vehicle is Finnished and ready to collect. Yay finally! After driving home have found that my passenger window is still making the horrible screeching noise when operating, one of the faults they were meant to have fixed. Extremely disappointed in my whole experience can’t believe they can get it this wrong. For one selling me a car with so many faults the used car check and service they carried out before my purchase isn’t worth the paper it’s written on and two for the clueless lazy service department who can’t be bothered to pick the phone up to update you on your vehicle. After reading the reviews on here looks like I’m not the only one to suffer the poor service from this company.

This is the Ford dealer most local to me but after my experiences I feel I would like to share the following: I have a vehicle under warranty but whenever something goes wrong there is always days before they can look at it and they want you to leave the car there for the whole day. The commercial salesman is rude and belittling. So much that I opted to drive to another dealer over an hour away to purchase my new vehicle. Finding a parking spot at this dealer is atrocious. The "customer car park" is always full of employee cars and vehicles waiting to go into the workshop. This delaership is the closest to my location but definitely not the most convenient. I reccomend you take your bussiness elsewhere.
