We are so fortunate to have this incredible little shop in Edmonton. Even though it is small, it has the most extensive selection of Sri Lankan, Indian, English and Afro Caribbean groceries available in Edmonton and Enfield. With so many items to choose from, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to explore. Shopping here is a true pleasure, with the friendly and attentive staff, and the atmosphere being reminiscent of a Sri Lankan store, complete with delightful music and the alluring scents of incense and spices. If you are a fan of Indian cooking, then a trip to this store is a must - you definitely won't be disappointed!

I got what I wanted from this shop. Staff were very helpful and polite.
Balaji is a fantastic shop for all South Asian ingredients particularly Sri Lankan, but equally they also stock good amounts of Mauritian, African and Caribbean produce. Its undergone a lot of expansion recently and they deserve all the success for all their hard work. So proud to have this shop in Edmonton.
The shop is expanding and has a wide range. But today service is unacceptable. I had to wait for a long time to have an assistant for beetle leaves and forcibly offered poor quality one.

Great Sri Lankans food shop
Be careful when buying stuff. Make sure you check expiry date. If no expiry date on goods do not buy as it has most probably been erased/removed due to past expiry date. They keep stuff past expiry date on shelves and will not take returns even if you bought just an hour ago.
Cool place to relax
