Shelves are completely empty. Went to the freezer section today, completely emptied to the point there was not a single item. No baskets at the front of the shop or at the tills. Ridiculous
I came into this Asda store for the first time today. The very item I came in for specifically wasn't available and that was tomatoes. A basic salad item I would have thought and even if they were there which I don't think they were I didn't see them. There really wasn't a very good selection in the fruit and veg section, so I ended up going to the Asda at Edmonton Green instead. I hate giving low star ratings, but maybe I'll try this store again another time and my star rating will change.
We used ASDA for the first time when we was visiting friends in Bedfordshire even though we live in North London we said it was the weekend so we will do shopping at ASDA for a change and we was surprisingly shocked on how affordable and the variety there was.nHowever this ASDA was the nearest super store near us and we said lets go back to ASDA and it was absolutely horrific.nThe staff seemed to think it was more of a social club i can comfortably say our local corner shop is more organised than this store.nNothing is in the right place and the shelfs have been so badly neglected its beyond a joke not to mention most tills displaying a hand written sign projecting cash only.nI can safely say i will never visit this store again and do not recommend it to anyone.
My advice to all experiencing poor customer service especially face to face is record it and see if their attitude changes. It's all down to the management in how to deal with and project good customer service. Staff may need retraining that includes management. As for customers getting too many substitutes in their home deliveries be a good idea to photgraph them anyway to show that they have passed the substitute threshold. Getting subs can be dangerous because they may contain allergies or items not suitable for babies which voukd be harmful etc.
Just wanted to warn others, that this store has become notorious for over charging people. It advertises one price and then charges you full price. When questioned they come up with absolute rubbish! As for their manager, who I think is called Mo, he's the worst.
