Wonderful plants and such helpful and knowledgable staff. It’s a small garden centre but full of interesting plants and everything h you need for gardening. I’ll definitely come again! LM
If I could give a zero I would, totally disgusted with this place and the owner and totally would not recommend. I will be positive and say that the staff in the shop are always great, super friendly and helpful. Because of this I decided to get a quote for their garden service and I wish I hadnt bothered. The appointment was at 12 noon and it was for a vulnerable lady who I look after. I had to stay for longer with my lady as it was not the normal time I visit her. I called 15 minutes later asking where he was as I had to go to other clients and was told he would not be too much longer. At 1pm still no sign and I visited the garden center asking for an update. The owner was called and he said he would be another 15 to 20 minutes. I feel it is so rude not to apologise, not to call to say he was going to be late. I cancelled as I did not want a company with no manners to work on my clients garden and he was told this via a phone call which I witnessed. It then gets worse the owner ignored my request to cancel and instead turned up at my cleints house and told my client he was here to do a quote. She is a vulnerable lady and he knew that I had to be there but he ignored that. He did not have any of her contact details yet he chose not to speak to me asking if it would be possible to go round even though I cancelled. He made my vulnerable lady uncomfortable and that is why I have to be there whenever she has workmen round, he chose to ignore this. I have never been so angry that an owner of a company chooses to ignore a cancellation of a job, felt very bullyish.
This has become my favourite place to get plants and garden related things, I called to place an order for some climbers and compost, trellis and posts/stakes, it was delivered a couple of hours later! I received really healthy plants delivered outside my door, better than anything I've bought in the past from visiting garden centres and really good price. Excellent customer service as i placed the order over the phone and top plants arrived, i cant wait to visit this place in person when things open up soon! thank you so much for allowing us to receive your plants while in lock down, i hope your business continues to stay open and thrives.
Bought five rolls of turf yesterday, only to find that four of them were in poor condition once unrolled. Only one roll had green grass and the others had yellow grass. I've laid four rolls in the hope that they will grow but it was a disappointing purchase. In hindsight, I probably should have taken the yellow grass rolls back to try to exchange them for green grass rolls. My advice would be to slightly unravel the rolls before buying them as they can clearly be vastly different in condition.
Opening Hours for sunday say 9-5 but sat outside till 9:30 and was still not opened
Excellent Garden Centre. Good stock and the staff are excellent!
Great place to get a variety of seeds and amazing collection of outdoor plants . You will not find many indoor plants here though . This will be my go to place for my summer gardening!
Great garden centre, nice selection of plants and wonderful staff who helped me to pick plants I needed and very kindly helped me to load to my car.
If I could give zero stars I would, absolutely shocking the manager Terkin, was extremely rude, shouting and aggressive. Belittling her own staff, when they were trying to help. “saying you are just the customer”. Never have I experienced such appalling service. I have used this garden centre for about 15 years as well. Such a shame when you are treated in this manner.
