First, the staff was wonderful and friendly and helpful. The room was large and the bath was large too. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. It's a little tricky to find, being tucked back in an inner courtyard. You have to look for the purple door with a tiny little inconspicuous sign. The neighborhood is a little out of the way for tourists, it's really a student section of town, so it feels alive and nice but a little out of the way--though within a 10 min walk to three metro stations. It feels like it's been remodeled recently with an Ikea vibe and a wild fancy Japanese toilet. It also has AC, which is nice. But breakfast gets a little crowded, everyone seems to want to eat at the same time. I just felt as if, for the price, I would have preferred something closer to the sites. There is a nice bakery across the street.
What a magical oasis of calm. You enter a purple door and the din of Paris falls away. You cross a leafy courtyard into the lodge. The room was some comfortable and quiet and the staff were lovely. I was so sad to leave. My daughter was very happy staying there too. Proper Paris neighbourhood, minimal tourism, surrounded by good food and a 20min metro ride to everything.
A fantastic place to stay. Such great nights sleep in comfortable beds Stayed here with 4 teenagers and they loved it as well, in a loft away from us all. Close to transport and an abundance of food and drinks. Highly recommended
The hotel is perfect to stay on Paris. Bathroom is the best. Breakfast ist verry good.
One of my good friend was insulted by the owner... it's very rude we should not go to places where people are so BAD what a shock !

What otherwise never happens, now happened naturally, we started talking to other guests. Fantastic ratio price/quality. We would love to come back here! Original Eden Lodge Paris is een kleine oase in de buurt van het Cimetière Père Lachaise. Je loopt het hotel makkelijk voorbij, het zit een beetje verstopt achter twee zware poorten, zonder een code kom je er niet in. Achter die poorten is een tuin waar je nauwelijks nog iets hoort van de stad. Heerlijk ontbijt met yoghurt, vers fruit en omelet. Elk detail ademt duurzaamheid, dit is een plek waar je tot rust kunt komen. Wat anders nooit gebeurt, gebeurde nu als vanzelf, we geraakten aan de praat met andere gasten. Fantastische verhouding prijs/kwaliteit. Hier komen we graag terug!
