Just off church Street and a stones throw from where we stayed on Fraser street, it's a good option for lunch and dinner. It has a small but decent selection of food stalls/outlets on offer. We tried the burger and chips place The Mart Prices were reasonable/high. £9.50 for their cheapest burger and chips was £3.50 for a small portion. They have milk shakes too. Enjoyed that. We also tried the food from Highland Pulled meats similar, pork and apple burger with fries. Quite nice actually. Again, not the cheapest but good taste. There's other places like a Chinese, Pizza, seafood, healthier mishmash of west/east fusion and a coffee and pastries stall which served really nice cakes and pastries. Also a place that sold a good selection of drinks, cider, ginger beer, beer, ale etc. . There's alot of seating, benches and tables in the middle similar to most food courts which is shared. Good atmosphere. Think they are open 8am to 6pm. Some of the food stalls open later like at 12pm on Sundays as we found out when we tried to have an early lunch around 11:45am after my eTape Loch Ness ride. . Didn't have to wait long.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere! Do yourself a favor and purchase a ticket for an Under Canvas summer session or two. What amazing talent you have here in Scotland. As a visitor, it was such a wonderful experience!
A great experience and a wonderful venue. We travelled from Aberdeen to visit the theater to see High Life. The stall we were in couldn't have been better. 4 seats almost in the centre of the theatre. Drink prices very reasonable and staff couldn't do enough to help us, on our first visit to the Empire Theatre inside. Thank you Eden Court.
Came for Mànran concert and it's my first time visiting Edens Court, but it won't br my last as I already have future events lined up.nnThe venue is beautiful, even the car drive to the venue going across the Loch banks is beautiful. The architecture is very modern and stylish, today just happened to be an extra event as a biking event begins tomorrow and so there were many tents on the outside to explore to do with cycling.nnThe venue is accessible and includes disabled parking for badge holders like myself and the badge holders get to park for free which is a nice touch.nnThe inside and main entrances are very wide and so very wheelchair, rollater and walking aid friendly, there are disabled toilets which I got to experience at half time of the show. These have all the necessary stuff along with some very nice hand soaps.nnThe theatre was accessible via ramp and so no stairs or blockages were in the way.nnThere is good and drink within Edens court, since the day was special there were places on the outside that we got some chips and a drink from. We did get ice cream at half time of the show which was nice and priced fairly.nnThe actual arena was bigger than I thought it would be, I was pleasantly surprised...good leg room and the seating is tiered which means everyone gets to see.nnThe venue staff were very friendly and Mànran were ofcourse magnificent. I very much enjoyed my evening. Edens court has 2 theatres and one is even a cinema so you can go wat h the latest movies aswell as your favourite musicals and live performances.
Eden Court Theatre and Cinema is a truly customer focused venue. Staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.nThere are multiple theatres with good disabled access. A well stocked bar and kiosk area. The menu is quite limited but, for a light bite, your needs are met.nnGood parking, great location for pre/ post show bars and restaurants nearby. Hotels are plentiful and they range from budget friendly to budget bursting.nnThe seating in the main 800 seat auditorium is wonderful. Very spacious and comfortable. Every seat offers a superb view of the stage.nnIf you buy front row seats, be aware that when it comes to intervals, you are required to remain seated until the safety curtain has been lowered/ risen.nSomething to note if you tend to need the loo more often than others.nnThe auditorium sound is fantastic making shows more enjoyable. We have seen all sorts of shows from drag to comedy and musicals to concerts and the atmosphere, sound and temperature within the auditorium has been perfect.nnWe have seen Pride Drag Artists from Highland Pride Event, several Steve Steinman productions, Blood Brothers, Six, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rocky Horror, Edinburgh Byrne and so many more.nnFor a great, comfortable and safe night out, check out Eden Court's website for upcoming events.
