Saw Texas supported by KT Tunstall and the gig was fantastic. The arena itself was good, a decent size and great acoustics. Staff were helpful and got most people inside the arena before the show started. But it was a hot night and there wasn't a lot of ventilation in there, so it got a bit sweaty. And a couple of people were clearly vaping in their seats and there were no staff around to stop them. But other than that, I would recommend the place.
A fantastic music venue with great audio and lots of great seats. The view and sound from all over the arena is incredible and I would definitely see another concert here.
It was very busy but the queue was quick and the staff excellent. We had two children with us. They were not squished at any time and thouroughly loved the show.
My husband and I attended an event here and was very upset that the tickets we had were up two flights of stairs. We approached a member of staff and they managed to get us seated on a lower tier. The staff were friendly and helpful. The venue itself was larger than I thought and was very clean and tidy. And we really enjoyed the concert and would recommend a visit. The food however is a bit expensive.
A fantastic arena, we went to see Texas on Saturday 7th September. Queues went down very quickly to enter, good security too. Food and drink expensive but it's the same for lots of venues. Seating was comfortable, had a great view of the stage in Block 17, sound was amazing. Smooth quick exit after the concert. Plenty of parking at the Kings dock car park .
Was there for Eric Clapton concert. Great venue. Easy access. Clean toilets but do get busy during concert times. Fantastic acoustics especially sitting in section B fairly close to the stage.
Attended Liverpool Comicon, and it was very well organised. The arena itself is only a short walk from the Albert Dock, Liverpool Town Centre and lots of other attractions. Staff were extremely helpful. Will be going back in Novermber.
We had there very unpleasant experience last night. We came there to watch the show, through the break we wanted leave for a cigarette. Simply we wanted use the nearest doors as there was no visible signs that some of the doors shouldn't be used. When we been outside some security women came and shout at us that we can't back inside anymore because we went out through the door what we shouldn't and we pushed door. That's the way to open the door by pushing or pulling right? We didn't used any force, those doors wasn't locked. Then, she send outside to us another rude security man. He as well didn't even asked us what happened, didn't listen to us, he said that "he heard version from this women, she's not liar so he not asking us". My Friend been trying explain to him that we have our stuff inside and we came there for a Birthday celebration so asked him kindly to not destroy this important night for us, but he said "he don't care". Luckily shortly after security manager came to us. And that was first person from those three who actually ask us what happened, listen to our version and treat us with kindness and respect. She said she will check cameras and she let us back in. We felt totally humiliated by those two security workers on front of other people's. If this exit/doors shouldn't be used, should be closed right? Or some security should stand just right by the door to prevent people open it, instead of react rude when someone actually did it. If she been standing far away from this door, even if she said something to us to not go this way, how we could hear this in this noisy environment? We absolutely shocked that people are treated like that in place like this.
We went to watch the hot wheels monster trucks - the event was very well organised, the venue was very clean and a lot of busy staff. they were very knowledgeable about the event and the venue and the toilets were well kept and clean
Great experience from start to finish.... My only suggestion would be to put both escalators on going down on the exit as it does bottleneck at the top. But I am sure someone has already thought of this and there will be a perfectly good safety reason why this does not happen. Staff are very helpful and venue is clean.
