Vague pricing and rude owner. Would NOT recommend - all of these reviews are pretty accurate on the horrible treatment!

The Worst hairdressers, EVER! They care about nothing but money and do not care for natural textured hair. Manipulating the hair with little to no moisturiser and are always vague about pricing. They charge whatever they feel and I would advise to AVOID. I would give 0 stars if possible. There is no customer service here, i'm certain they don't know what it is.

Terrible customer service. The owner is the epitome of rude. I find it particularly rude to be speaking your language over a customer while staring at them from head to toe. Made me very uncomfortable. Never going back there. You shouldn't no matter how desperate you are.

I went there ages ago. I can't believe this place is still going.  Well I definately will not be. The first and last time I went there.  I told them what I wanted. They charged a price. The woman washed my hair. Didn't tell me where to sit after she had finished she just walked away.  When I followed her she said sit here.  She put the first extension in but pulled the hair so much that the curl dropped.  She said it must be the hair (which I brought from the same hairdressers ) she carried on as if it was ok. In the end I told her to stop. I went downstairs to pay for the wash. The agreed amount was not enough.  The manager turned round and said your hair was so dirty we think we need more money. I told them forget it. You gave me a price and so handed the money over.  I went to walk out the shop. The manager grabbed me and dragged me back into the shop with force. Hurting my arm demanding I pay her or she will call the police. I gave the money but I haven't stepped through that door since. Very wicked people. And I ended up going elsewhere to get my hair done

Over-priced and bad customer service. If your hair is natural I strongly advise you not to use this salon as they do not know how to deal with natural textured hair. 
In fact they berated me for my hair texture and asked why I wouldn't texturise it. The hairdresser parted my hair with no moisturiser at all and began to comb harshly at my hair from the root instead of starting at the ends and working her way up. This obviously caused a lot of pain and I was visibly uncomfortable but the hairdresser either didn't notice or didn't care.

All I wanted was to have my natural hair cornrowed so I could lay my wig flat on top. No extensions or hair products were used, only my hair, and yet I was charged £20 just for ten small cornrows. Regardless of the fact that I was told £10 on the phone, their justification for the price hike was because and only because of my hair texture.

I was appalled that an Afro-Caribbean hair shop could discriminate against natural Afro hair in this way and I certainly won't be returning there ever again.
