As a disabled pensioner, I found the staff to be VERY professional, helpful and understanding of my reduced mobility. Very accessible for those with wheelchairs, parents with prams or very young children. Not often I have reason to praise the British rail network, but cannot fault the service I received here. Thank you.

It's a useful station if your in the area bit confusing the man is a bit slow sometimes. Handy for going to places like Southampton or Portsmouth. It's quiet clean not to much litter you might get the odd bit but you do get a lot of people smoking and it's kind of annoying when they blow it Near you.

Dirty smelly station. Beware the vending machines. Whoever fills them leaves gaps so don't be surprised if you don't get whatever it is you paid for. People regularly smoke unchallenged on platforms 2 & 3.

Basic stop and drop station. Doesn't do the town any favours. Toilet facilities are basic and disgusting, and close at 7 p.m along with ticket office shortly after. For a town with late social facilities, this only encourages unsavoury acts. Cleanliness is not important to SWT /Network Rail and building standard overall is not impressive.
