There are major differences to Eastleigh train station than a nearby train station, Winchester train stationnnBoth train stations are well kept together and clean, so that is a positive for both train stations.nnEastleigh train station barley has any staff, and a few months ago, I waited for my train which took about half an hour to arrive. There was only one staff member there and there are multiple different platforms.nnIt is easy to sneak on the train and get off in a different place as there is no sense of security here. There are no security guards on duty and when you walk onto the platform, there isn't a machine where you can scan your ticket.nnEastleigh train station is alright, but it has it's flaws. I would give it a 3.4 rating
Tatty in places with some reasonable shops in some areas. If you are thrifty then there are an abundance of charity stores. The train station is pretty limited and the service to other places in both directions is adequate.
Refreshment cafe on the platform has shut down August 2024 and the lift was out of action when I visited.nClose to the town centre for coffee/ loos etc before travelling.
Not much in the way of refreshments but tidy station, well signposted etc
Fantasic station, most things functional, nice shop, although the toilets are hardly ever open, but clean ish when open.nFantastic for train Enthusiasts Fantastic locos. The eastleigh works is up and strong with plenty of operations around that
