The shopping centre is now mute with zero development in recent years particularly with the introduction of the Quays Designer Outlet. A decade ago it was a hot spot of energy and excellent shopping with lots of choice, now it’s more or less cheap clothing outlets, coffee shops and a few big brand stores keeping the place alive. The old market seems lost and dated, there use to be many local traders now only 2/3 of the old faces are noticeable. The car park is useful and positioned in the middle of the city centre, can be very busy during the weekends. The first floor of the shopping centre is non existent and not worth the energy.

Parking is good. Available shops are good and toilets are always clean and available with even an escalator available. The market feels like a different world you can enter and the whole shopping centre is pleasant to be in.

Probably the best shopping centre in Gloucester, especially as it caters perfectly to shoppers who enjoy the smell of fish whilst browsing. This is the main reason I pass through on my way to and from work, helps me to prepare for the workday and commute ahead. The aggressive political propaganda that is present throughout the centre is a great contrast to the subtle and monochromatic advertising of M&S, so much so in fact that columnists for the Independent often spend time upstairs. Worth a visit if you have a whole day to spare to explore the centre.

A large and historic space that, frankly, needs an injection of cash. It's looking s little tired with what seems a constant turnover of stores opening and closing. As others have noted, the upstairs is completely empty. The old fashioned market is worth a browse though: cheap butcher, two nice little sweet stalls, a great hardware 'shop', a good craft stall and an amazing delicatessen + more.

Good rooftop parking, several lifts & stairs dotted about. One lift goes directly into M&S, handy if that's where you want to go. I use the blue badge parking & had my badge "verified" a little while ago, makes life so easy, drive to the machine, hold blue badge to a scanner, park & then do the same to leave - brilliant! Very rare there isn't an available disabled space, as they increased the quantity of them when doing the refurbishment.
