Absolutely shocking service. Left us for over 1.5 hours waiting for the appointment with a poorly 11 month old baby. Turns out admin didn’t check us in. Manager is pathetic, she Wouldn’t resolve it by stopping other patients going in who arrived after us, even though she admitted their mistake. Absolutely disgraceful.
I called NHS 111 and was contacted shortly after by the out-of-hours doctor service. I was given an appointment within the hour by the very polite gentleman at reception and seen by the wonderful Dr. Rahman, who was excellent with my daughter. We received a prompt diagnosis, and antibiotics were prescribed. Thank you so much for the outstanding care and efficiency!
Couldn't fault the experience with this service. I received a call from an extremely pleasant, empathetic and helpful nurse within 10 minutes of 111 refering my daughter for an out of hours call. The nurse was wonderful and got us an appointments booked within 2 hours. Upon arrival we were seen quickly wouldn't have minded if I'd had to wait an hour as extremely grateful for such a fast appointmentnnThe doctor we saw was amazing, very pleasant, patient and understanding, determined quickly that my daughter had an infection and provided us with the treatment and advise needed.nnSuper appreciative of such a wonderful service from all involved including the 111 call handler.
Although a lengthy wait of twelve hours from initial 111 phone call, to being referred to ELMS, when I was seen, Dr Hussein was efficient and very thorough. Although my recovery will take time I am already feeling significantly better than I was three days ago. Thank-you for being there and being so compassionate
Assessed by Dr Nikki Rouke in the out of hours GP service, who was professional, compassionate and diligent. Despite feeling very unwell I felt like I was in very capable hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. I would say she’s an asset to the profession.
