Best chicken katsu curry I've had in ages. Absolutely delicious, crunchy chicken, really good portion size big! and very reasonable price. Recommended
The taste of the rice noodles is very good, the soup is very thick and tasty, and the beef is very fresh. The duck tongue was out of stock, and the duck neck was not good. The chili oil costs extra. With ywm and zcr
Nice atmosphere, bit of a wait time but that just means they make it to order. I had pork noodle soup was good but the broth was lacking flavour and they added diced peppers that ruined the flavour for me. They bring the food to you so you can sit and wait.
The place smells delicious but we were too full to try any of the food. The coffee is well made and fairly priced. One of the few places in London where an espresso is £1! As an added bonus they also have a limited selection of Pokémon themed soft drinks. The communal style dining table is a nice touch too. Quiet on weekends.
We came for lunch on Saturday afternoon and ordered the spicy noodle soup and stir fry. Food was prepared fresh, wait was short, and portion sizes were very generous. Food was delicious and prices so reasonable. I definitely recommend!
Wear your poorest clothes and don't you dare look like you're enjoying yourself. Chef had a hang up over my expensive leather jacket that I always wear because it reminded him how poor he was. You can tell he deeply resents his job. I only went there for covenience for the most part anyway, food is overpriced even for London standards. Now I understand why wealthy people live in gated communities, to not have to deal with wealthcels like this.
im chinese, this is not chinese food. actually the worst food compares to anywhere! the meat is bad alreadly, that you can smell dead fish from their "chinese" chicken. ! !
They recently came under new management and in the beginning the food, prices and service was on point. But my recent experience left me annoyed and frustrated at the restaurant. They served a choice of two sides to another customer while I was left with a choice of one and salad, in the beginning they gave you as many sides as you want for 50p lesser than what they charge now. However, after the renovation they increased their prices, reduced their choices and apply different policies to different customers. Very discriminatory. Highly disappointed. They even charged me extra 50p extra than shown on the menu. Not a professionally run restaurant. The nandos or kitchen pizzeria 2 minutes away will give you a better bang for your buck. Or walk 3 minutes inside the Queen Mary campus and grab lunch at the curve, you will get a good variety of fresh food for cheaper prices.
I have had great experiences at the Kitchen. They offer a variety of food and drinks, and have a cheerful environment. The manager Jolita has also been lovely in serving me and is very attentive to the customers. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for students.
Had an amazing beef pho from The Kitchen which is a cool little place on Mile End Road. It feels as though it has been recently renovated as the interior is a really clean, fresh and relaxed place to eat lunch. The pho was so full of flavour that I often find myself craving for it when I'm not even in the area! The lady who was working behind the counter that day was very welcoming and helped me make my choice. Overall its a great place that that will give you a flavoursome meal at a very reasonable price.
