Local airport and so convenient for me, yet so sad that it has been run down so much over the last 15 years. Used to carry a million passengers a year, now its lucky if it can even make a tenth of that. Only international flight is KLM to Amsterdam. Its so broke charges an "amenity" fee of £6 which you have to purchase to get through security. Up side is its quiet, easy to get through security, and parking is easy. You can even arrange car parking at the George Hotel (100 metre walk to Terminal) for only £18 for 3 days. Amenities poor and shop in Departures expensive. Runs at a loss so guess it'll shut down in a few years... Very sad.

Rude and obnoxious security staff. Got 'interrogated' for 5 minutes on the way back from a business trip. I understand the need for security and totally agree with it, but some of the questioning was intrusive and unnecessary.

I sent you a formal complaint in 16/12/17 - no response, not even an acknowledgement. 
Can’t get through to anyone on the phone, a total shambles, you and your staff should be ashamed of how you treated my family on that day.

Excellent Airport With Good Selection Of Check-in Desks And Clear Departure And Arrival Boards,And Also Staff That Are Friendly,And Helpful .

The airport is really small and old, and lack of connectivity to the city. Bus only run in the morning and late afternoon. The only airport in the UK so far I had to pay Passengers Facility Fee (£6 for adults, £2 for kids) before security chech. Security check also not efficient (as they need to check if you have paid the fee before!). KLM flies here, but even BA doesn't.
