Terrible bus station. It's like a Russian roulette at times wondering which stand your bus is at. The road going into the bus station is in terrible state of repair. Avoid travelling through this bus station between 3 and 5.30pm always packed when the kids are at school. There is always a load of kids outside of the bus station smoking and drinking alcohol which always makes it uncomfortable to go into the station. The only two slightly good comments there is security guards in the station and there is live times displayed on the boards on the bus.

Horrible dirty dark place. Toilet is disgusting and you have to pay 20p to get in it. I had a shower when I got home. Hope this is not the first place students see when they arrive in Durham.

Cool, quaint and beautiful little city, just don't rush round and enjoy your time.
