Ive been in the store many times but this was the first time visiting coffee shop and was pleasantly surprised. Put some of the more popular places to shame. Coffee was fresh and good. Cakes varied and delicious and service was good. My new coffee spot!
I was in your store recently looking for a washable runner for our hallway to match the mat we have at the front door. There were several runners on show, but not the design we required. We asked a store assistant, for some advice. She was most unhelpful with attitude. She was looked down her nose at us, & said if it was not on the stand, there were no more in stock. She didn't even check her system. My 77 year old hubby decided to go upstairs in the store & found several of the runner we were looking for. Is it our age that this young lady thinks we are not worth bothering about.We will not be back to your store, as much as we love your products. No-one deserves to be treated in this manner.
Saw a lampshade on display which I liked and wished to purchase two of them. Couldn't find any on the shelf despite searching about. Asked an assistant where I could find one but she had no joy either. Disappointed.
Great shop! Sells a variety of home items, furniture, bedding, frames, carpets, crockery, pots and pans. Staff also very helpful & friendly.
Been shopping here since shop opened spending £100-£150 on average and always found staff friendly and helpful. I asked what I thought was a simple question to 'lady ' at door re. large pillowcase to fit bolster pillow I was buying. Told by this 'lady'Julie "most people make their own as store didn't do them!" How ridiculous ! If shop sells pillows it must sell pillow cases to fit which was met by a shrug of her shoulders. I actually found them after searching all the shelves. When I later showed her them I found her comments extremely sarcastic and rude. I admit her comments annoyed me and I 'bit back' and was probably a bit rude myself tbh. I went back to look for her name badge which she proudly showed me. She then informed me she'd reported ME to her supervisor! Is she just at the door to say hello or is she meant to help customers. Think need for her to attend a refresher course in Customer Care . Would've reported to a supervisor at the time but obviously would be a waste of time and effort as I'm certain the version she gave was a very different one! I then had to walk away in disgust. No wonder people use Amazon so much. I certainly will in the future . £168 lighter but it's the last time I'll ever shop there. Sadly I doubt anyone cares. Rant over.
2+ stars for Stock. Zero stars for staff. Arrived 10 mins before shop was due to close 7.50pm told the staff on my way in that I knew what I was after so they knew I was aware the store closed at 8.00pm. 5 mins in, I was told the shop is closing then a cluster of staff staring at me making me feel very unwanted and awkward on my very short visit. They didn't have what I was looking for but as I could feel all eyes on me, I rushed out the door at 7.58 to the relief on the staff's faces. I'm not too sure I will return to Dunelm or certainly the store in Livingston as I was not made to feel welcome at all! Note to Dunelm head office: Train your staff to treat customers better regardless of the time they enter the store and to make them feel welcome.
Great shop for home furnishing. Sell materials for cushion covers, curtains etc, staff were great.
Went for few things early morning but popped in for a tea to the cafeteria upstairs, very nice staff, not long time awaiting then shopping. Got all I needed.
Was in to collect my click and collect items excellent service staff friendly and helpful
went to Dunelm Livingston to get some curtains. They did not have it but they could order it. catch was I could not pick them up from the store which was my preference. Now I regret ordering them , as they use Evri courier who are hopeless in letting you know when they are actually going to deliver the item. Dunelm dont care about customers anymore. Why cant they have items picked from the store,I just dont understand.
