Online order for in store collection takes a lot longer than other branches This one I believe takes the longest time to wait for - collection wise.nnInside the store, the check out part on the ground floor is definitely in short of staff, only two in uniforms but they were busy with other stuff instead of focusing on serving the customers in line. With no greetings no 'You're welcome' no eye contact, lack of basic customer service skills. Suggestion: Why not get some self check out tills instead? We the customers don't deserve to be treated by your unhappy and rude staff members who are great at delivering the poor service.nnCafe inside: A total disaster! Very poor customer service received from your staff member. Certainly it's the worst cafe that I've ever been to. Very unwelcoming and certainly unprofessional. We were there at 10 am and waited there for at least 10 minutes in front of the counter to be served. One masculine female staff member was there literally just ignoring us. Until one more customer joined the queue, she then came over to the counter to take our orders but without giving any apologies whatsoever related to having kept us waiting. We had to put up with her moaning about the matcha spoon had gone missing and that her colleague was supposed to be there and that she was busy with this and that and the banging noises from the metal tools, etc. Honestly, we were there to enjoy the food as customers, and not to listen to your staff complains. That's extremely unprofessional. Very limited food and drinks, sandwiches look pathetic. Had a try with their so-called New vanilla matcha latte, but nowhere near as good as any Japanese cafes in West end, which is sad! Thought it was good based on the reviews but it turns out to be the worst one in London. Suggestion: create an app for customers to download to order so we don't have to face your unhappy and rude staff members.
When I returned my online order, the cashier Donna took my item but didn't even begin the refund process. The online order number is 4070089920 and now I left without an item and out of pocket. I spoke to customer service three times and they still haven't refunded me, saying that they need to check with the store. But it's been over three weeks and the store still hasn't responded. Don't place any online orders with this company!
Good service, came for click and collect from a long way, since there's no stores near me who offer the same. Dunelm is great, for everything and ofcourse fairly priced.
I had placed an order for multiple storage boxes, two different sized boxes and only half the order was ready. Initially the only store was colliers wood that had the stock so even though I live in purley I decided to go there instead of my local Croydon branch. I received an initial statement that within 2 hours they'll be able to get ready... even though they are closed...then later that after 4pm the next day the order will be ready... no messages after 4 received at all... I got there and was told they had no idea where the other half of the order was and only half was ready... that was annoying as I wanted a quick pick up... anyway they had loads upstairs so I decided to go check to pick up a similar 100litre sized box...I found 3 eventually... most were terrible quality cracked and worn down on the bottom of the box... very surprising as they're meant to be brand new... anyway the order was paid for so I thought it'd be a straight swap but half the order was cancelled... and refund to be processed...a little annoying as I hadn't received the refunded money yet and here i was paying for more... it was a business account so just complicates invoices... it should have been ready! Before i turned up to the store I tried calling to ensure no wasted journey... no one answered the call...I could have gone to the Croydon branch which was closer to my home and saved myself all this hassle... their stock levels need to be accurate... very inefficient... the boy at the counter was polite and apologetic...but just the overall experience of orders not being ready and no one answering calls is not good enough.
I wish it would tell you if the product is in stock so you don’t need to do click and collect. You either can go in store and purchase it or pay for delivery. I did click and collect and had to wait over 15 minutes. I then was still not served and had to find someone. 5 minutes after this my order came. Seems excessive waiting when it’s meant to be an easier option doing click and collect
