My sister and myself have been going to the old mill for years for lunch every Thursday. I normally got the mince pie and salad and my sister had the quiche and salad but for some reason they changed the menu. There's no quiche and there's now individual mince pies with flaky pastry which was very disappointing. The home made mince pie  was delicious and sold very quickly so I don't know why they changed it to individual pies with flaky pastry also my sister loved the quiche which is no longer on the menu so for that reason I'm giving 4 stars.

Delighted to find they  now have an area downstairs  where you are allowed to bring your dog in with you.  You can order  the same food as upstairs.  Wonderful!

A lovely place I thought but priced a bit too steep for what I had to eat.  
One piece of potato bread (cut into 2 triangles) and two pieces of bacon with a filter coffee cost £5.80 and it was pretty basic.  On my first visit - and on my own, with no other customers to follow a la sheep - I found it strange and not particularly welcoming.
