Great local shopping centre!”nArds Shopping Centre is always a pleasure to visit. There’s a great mix of shops, plenty of free parking, and the whole place feels clean and well looked-after. Staff in most stores are friendly, and the centre is easy to get around with good accessibility. The seasonal decorations and little events give it a nice community feel too. Perfect for a quick visit or a full shopping trip — definitely one of the better centres in the area!
Ards has a wide range of specialist shops alongside some big box names and one of the largest wool shops in Northern Ireland as well as a vibrant weekend market.
This shopping centre is busy, but that’s because it’s got a solid mix of shops and reliable deals. You can often find good value, and the range means you’ve got options. Just expect the crowds, since everyone knows it’s a decent spot for a bargain
Needs a major refit. With other shopping centres like Bloomfield and Abbey Centre being bought over, I almost hope Ards is too - because it’s in desperate need of a refit. Ards town would be lost without it, for sure, but it deserves an upgrade with a redevelopment of the shopping centre. If the centre was refurbished, it would be one of the best places to shop. Ards deserves a new and improved shopping mall! It also has a huge part abandoned with no shops - there’s so much potential not being fully used.nnOn a more positive note, the best stores are probably TK Maxx, Primark and ASDA. Theres also an area reserved for local crafters and businesses with their own stalls - such a great idea. Really makes a great impact on the store.nnDefinitely a store for its local people. I just hope it can be used to its full potential someday soon!
Fine if you live nearby but not a shopping centre you’d travel to. Has TK Maxx, Asda, Primark, Boots, Iceland and Asda and a few cafes. Not great. One part has no shops at all. Nothing different to draw you to the centre. Parking was fine.
