We were given a nice welcome, with a very thorough informative overview of the site and area and we were guided to our pitch which overlooked the bottom field, golf course and out to sea. A nice dog walking area and field. The facilities are what you expect for a club site but kept very clean and well maintained. We had a lovely walk along the beach to the lighthouse and the following day a walk to Dunbar along the beach and golf course. Being a Sunday it was busy so we had to wait quite a bit for the golfers. We enjoyed our stay here but I did find the cement works behind quite noisy at times.
Beautiful setting with good views over the coast. Very clean showers. Staff very friendly and helpful. This site caters for ttents and caravan. The only problem with the site is the wind that is constant, even when the day is hot it never stops blowing. The site is ideally situated for the train station which is great if you are going into Edinburgh and don't want to drive.
Fantastic site, can be a little windy but it is on the coast. Very well looked after by staff and they are very helpful. Plenty of dog walking areas, even a closed in area that you can let your dog of the lead first time we've seen this on a caravan site, great idea. Toilet block is very clean and accessible.
Omg, if you want peace, views, and space this is the place to come. Staff are absolutely amazing. We calculated nights wrong, extra night required, spoke to staff, they sorted it straight away. Clean, tidy site with good shower block and toilets, It's a must, we will return, we came from England
Les, the camp manager, went out of his way to make my stay welcoming and hospitable. Very peaceful site away from traffic, with clean facilities. Highly recommend a 15 minute bike ride to Dunbar's community bakery for excellent pastries. Thanks for everything Les!
Very quiet site lovely and clean all amenities were good and it’s dog friendly. Once you walk around the site they nothing else to do. Going out site seeing around Dunbar was brilliant
Site manager, Les, is an amazing guy and is very friendly and helpful. We accidentally booked hardstand pitch for a tent. Although this wasn’t Les’s problem, he stepped in and managed to find us a grass pitch with electricity even though they were all booked up. He saved our holiday for me and my two kids. One morning, the boiler broke meaning that there was no supply of hot water but this was repaired within a very short space of time. The site was clean and peaceful. The view was gorgeous. Members of the public in the campsite were very respectful and kind. Many thanks to the team and especially Les
Had a lovely 2 day stop over while heading north. Site is immaculate, surrounded by walks and not far from the castle grounds. We could have done with another couple of days to explore more so will definitely be on our list to return!
Lovely camp site. Very peaceful. Short walk to White Sands and slightly longer to the light house. Although there's no site shop Dunbar is a short drive away and there's an ASDA. Would definitely recommend. Playground: Small children's playground at the bottom of the site. Dog-friendliness: Easy access to Dog walking paths and enclosed area.
FANTASTIC! From the moment we arrived everyone was sooooo friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Good size flat pitches. Stunning views. All facilities very clean all the time. Highly recommended.
