First time at Due Amici and I was impressed, the restaurant was spotless and well laid out a very nice place to eat and I will certainly be going again in the future . I would say it's Walkdens hidden gem. The staff were very friendly and helpful the service was excellent the food was absolutely amazing, I did find it a bit odd that you could only have veg or chips with your steak . Some of the drinks were a bit pricey but there was something for everyone's budget.
Fresh, hot, absolutely delicious dishes! Best Cheesy bread I've ever had. Food came fairly quickly even though the place was almost fully packed. Lovely staff. Ambience was great too.
Tried the special Tomahawk this time. Magnificent! The lovely waitress remembered I like my steak rare/blue and very tentatively informed us how to get the best out of the meat. STUNNING! They usually sell out of Cheesecake, but I got some tonight and it was WELL worth the wait! How do I give more than 5 stars?
Four of us attended last night for my birthday meal. On first impressions it looks really nice. We were seated quickly but then not even asked if we wanted a drink. We had to catch the eye of a waiter after sitting there for 10 minutes.. I ordered the monkfish wrapped in ham. The sauce was delivered cold, on a cold plate. I asked for them to heat it up. It was brought back, still cold, I sent it back again and it was returned again cold. By this time I couldn't be bothered. The restaurant is overpriced and underwhelming. We were charged nearly £5 for a small bottle of water. The measures of the drinks are inaccurate, a pint of lager that was 3/4 lager and a quarter froth. I don't mind what I pay when out for a meal as long as the food and service is good quality but this place has neither good food or service. Wont be returning.
This was our first visit to this fabulous restaurant in nearly 4 years and we certainly hope it won't be another 4 before we're here again. We received a warm welcome, the service was impeccable and the food & wine were delicious. The 3 hours we spent here passed far too quickly. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank in particular one of our waitresses, a young, Greek lady called Elena? She took several photos of us at our request and was very charming & funny. She's a real asset to your business. Really look forward to eating here again! Grazie!
Amazing restaurant, service is next to none. Food portions are great, great range of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits. Always lovely music playing. pizzas, pastas, grill dishes. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit. We got the sharing starter and a pizza and pasta dish. I has king prawn pasta and was over the moon with the amount of prawns I got :- We are hoping to go back soon with the kids in tow.
Excellent each and every time my family & I have visited. The staff are extremely friendly with A*** service. The food is delicious, great portions and reasonable pricing.Food: 5/5
I have been going to this restaurant for at least 30 yrs as i live very close to it within a five minute walk . But its excellent food and the staff also excellent service at a very reasonable price .its very nice decor and it matters to me that you can see the chefs at work .and the toilets are immaculate which is a massive bonus in my book . Please give it a try . It doesn't have its own carpark but you can park in the street nearby .
Had a lovely meal last Saturday night First time visiting this restaurant. All the staff very polite and helpful. Food delicious. Calzone better than what I had in Italy
Amazing place. Friendly staff. Fresh food & speedy service. Such a warm welcome every time, even when there is a large group to serve.
