This cottage was booked for a party of adults with learning disabilities by my company manager, it looks perfect on the website....its not, but it could be and the solution for getting a better score is very simple...elbow grease. The place is filthy, stained carpets,dirty upholstery and soft furnishings,inches of dust everywhere,we had to clean the kitchen and every item of equipment in it before we felt able to use it, the numerous plug in room fresheners couldn't disguise the smell of dirt and grease that filtered through the property. Dampness was a problem throughout the building,dread to think what its like in the middle of winter. The cottage could be beautiful, its well located and in a lovely setting but its quite obvious the owner is just interested in the rental income of the property and not in its up keep.
