OK cold weather. Pipes frozen no water for 48 hours plus, after trying to get through by phone for hours costing money on phone bill, loosing a day off work , more money lost . When I finally got through to a very arrogant man , he said nothing we can do... How about spending my rent which I pay on lagging pipes in the first place so it don't happen in the first place. Seen as the feed pipes frozen from the flat below me cutting off my water try putting a Tennant in the empty flat to keep it warm, it's been empty four months , yet there are ppl out there on the streets , sleeping out that would love the flat below me. I asked if my pipes burst because of lack of maintenance could my insurance claim against the council. Cocky reply I got was definitely not . Question why don't Dudley council abide by the law's that apply to landlords to maintain property fit to live in , that includes a fit for use water supply . Seems one rule for private landlords and not Dudley council . Very poor maintenance of their property . Arrogant staff, Plenty ppl who would love a job and be much more polite

Due to snow, our recycling collection was missed on a Monday 11 December. The website did not say what would happen to missed collections. A recorded message said it would be collected "throughout the week" and to leave it out. No sign of collection by following Monday. A request by email sent the weekend in 17th got an auto response. I called them the following Tuesday 19 December and a woman told me it would be collected next Saturday 23rd December (almost two weeks from missed collection.) The woman was defensive, saying the bin men would be happy to take extra recycling over the Xmas period. I said it wasn't extra but a missed collection, but she stuck to the mantra. I then asked her if any updates were available on the website about the fact that the missed collection would be this Saturday, she says yes. It isn't. Of course. I then asked how long Dudley council has, by its own targets, to respond to email requests. She said they don't have any targets. Wow. In this day and age. She said they had been inundated with calls. Well yes, fine, but since they tell us most people use their website to communicate now, if they had updated the website regularly throughout the snow episode, they would have saved themselves time and money. Archaic, unhelpful and entitled attitude from staff is reflected in the review results. The senior managers should take note

I would give zero stars if I could Dudley council has to set their priorities feel as we are just wasting our hard early money on council tax when we do not benefit at all don’t grit the roads don’t collect waste on time don’t help With fly tipping absolutely no help to the public just want to fill their pockets shame on you

Visited for the nationality check service, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Allowing work was done with a smile and friendly conversation. I really liked the place.
